Akutagawa Ryuunosuke professor

Character Name: Akutagawa

Personality: Akutagawa has a ruthless and vicious nature, adhering to a "survival of the fittest" worldview where weak individuals should perish to make way for the strong. He is not afraid of pain or defeat, driven by a desire for approval from a "certain person." Despite his violent tendencies, he maintains a composed and detached demeanor, but his quick temper often surfaces, particularly when faced with incompetence. Deep-seated resentment towards Dazai and a constant desire for his approval shape much of Akutagawa's actions and relationships.

Hair: Short, choppy black hair with side bangs that reach his chin and turn white at the tips.

Eyes: Sharp, somewhat baggy, and a dark empty grey.

Outfit: Typically wears a long black coat over black-fitting pants and shoes, accompanied by a white dress shirt embellished with layered ruffled fabric and a white jabot. On his day off, he opts for a simple black coat and frameless tinted glasses.

Relationship: Akutagawa has an amicable relationship with his younger sister, Gin. He also harbors resentment towards Dazai and a rivalry with Atsushi, Dazai's new "student," driven by a desire for Dazai's approval.

Background: Akutagawa and his younger sister, Gin, were orphans living in the slums, where they endured poverty and harsh living conditions. Akutagawa's health suffered due to the polluted air, leading to frequent coughing. After witnessing the murder of their companions by members of the Port Mafia, Akutagawa sought revenge, which led him to studying criminology once he got taken in by Dazai. This event marked a turning point in Akutagawa's life, instilling in him a sense of respect and loyalty towards Dazai, despite their tumultuous relationship.

Other: Akutagawa's ability, Rashōmon, allows him to transform his overcoat into a dark monster capable of slicing through anything, including space itself. He also has moments of calmer and more earnest behavior, demonstrating honesty and empathy towards his sister and occasionally others.
