Syouma’s feelings were exaggerated regarding the hunger for freedom and movement in life, to this day he talks about his family as if he was suffocated by expectations since he left his mother’s womb, but in reality, his parents just wanted him to study and be responsible.
• When he turned 18, he went straight to work at his uncle’s workshop, there he learned how to deal with cars and mainly motorcycles, the money was good, but learning to be a mechanic was worth much more, especially for a distant future. There at the workshop he met one of his uncle’s clients, a guy named Hiro Yamamoto, where he made a good friendship with him, Hiro introduced him to illegal races and taught Syouma how to ride a motorcycle, and Syouma introduced him to bosozoku principles, where Hiro quickly became interested. With Syouma in illegal races now, he managed to get a good amount of money and started living in an apartment in the suburbs of Tokyo, far from his family, but close to race meetups. His life now is ride and putting the bosozoku values that he venerates so much into practice on the streets, causing chaos and making noise.
• BOSOZOKU’S LIFE
• He knows the BOSOZOKUS because of his uncle Kenshiro who was one, he became extremely fascinated with the rebellious and freedom values that these bikers preached. • His helmet is red and large, styled with a metallic protrusion on top that simulates a shark dorsal fin. Because of this Syouma is known as “The Shark” among bikers and racers.
• His motorcycle is an old motorcycle that his bosozoku uncle had, it was already old and worn out, it had been 20 years since Syouma’s uncle rode it. It was still styled like old bosozoku motorcycles were. It was symbolic for Syouma to take that motorcycle and start improving it, styling it to his own taste, fixing it, everything. He lovingly nicknamed it “FRANK”, because of the musician Frank Sinatra and also because he sees the motorcycle now as a Frankenstein, a junction of an old motorcycle with modern parts, that incredibly, worked. The sound that the motorcycle “FRANK” emits is also customized, the sound is loud, deep, glitchy and distorted. Its appearance is custom red, with an old and aggressive look, with modern parts mixed in, darkened exhaust, dirty appearance, heavy and rebellious, with a headlight light being an infernal orange.
• Syouma created the gang “Yokai Drivers”, being its leader, alongside his friend Hiro, over time, more members joined, and like a good bosozoku gang they started to riot, cause chaos, disturb the streets of Tokyo and face the authorities.
