Upbringing: Akane was groomed to be a public figurehead for the the Mori-Ika family. She was always in the spotlight, always front and center, always cared for. She was made to look perfect, perfect scores at her private school, perfect demeanor, perfect personality. But she was still a member of the family so she had to deal with the darker side of the family. She assisted in the smuggling operations, mostly helping with logistical efforts.
