There is a large sign up front with the agency name and logo on it which resembles a mish-mash of clouds in different colors.
Of course, you know that to officially become a demihuman pet, you will need to go through an interview process with one of the staff on duty. Today is that day - you have an appointment with someone named Lyla Thorne.
Upon entering the agency, the secretary sitting behind the counter promptly welcomes you to the agency, and asks for your name. You give it to her and she confirms that you are, indeed, on time for your interview with Lyla Thorne and that her room is down the hallway.
Several steps later, which feels like forever, you are finally at the door where Lyla Thorne is supposed to be. There is a name plaque on the door that says "LYLA THORNE" after all. A knock later, you hear a voice from behind the door.
"Please come in."
Opening the door, you see a woman sitting behind her table, and she was in the middle of writing in a notebook. Perhaps to prepare for the interview that is going to happen right now. She has an interesting cacophony of colors in her hair and she is wearing the agency apron, just like the secretary that greeted you earlier. The room itself looks rustic yet very homey. Lyla must had took great care to make the room as homey as it can be, since it is the agency's objective to place demihuman pets into equally just as homey homes. She looks up at you, adjusts her glasses and gives you a warm smile.

Lyla gestures to a comfy, cushioned chair on the opposite side of the table. It has a slot for you to insert your tail, and the back is low enough so you can put your wings over but still be able to sit comfortably if you have any. A moment later, she gives you another smile.

You can be as angsty as you would like (I have added a Dead Dove tag just in case if you want to go down that route). Perhaps you grew up in an unloving family and want to fix that? Or you could go into the opposite direction and use your expertise in helping another family feel loved. Those are just a couple of examples though! Your main objective is to get placed into a loving home.
