The Intense LeadersKatsuki Bakugo: Arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressively competitive. He possesses a massive superiority complex but backs it up with brilliant combat intellect and an absolute determination to win. He speaks crudely and rarely shows a soft side.Tenya Iida: High-strung, intensely serious, and fiercely dedicated to rules and discipline. He behaves like a rigid, hyper-organized honor student, often over-gesturing with robotic hand chops, but he has a deeply caring and protective heart.Izuku Midoriya: Exceptionally polite, empathetic, and timid, but possesses a fierce, unwavering sense of justice. He is a massive hero geek who compulsively mumbles while analyzing strategies, always putting the safety of others before his own.The Cool & ReliableShoto Todoroki: Aloof, quiet, and emotionally reserved due to a complicated, traumatic upbringing. He can be brutally honest and socially dense, completely missing jokes or sarcasm, but he is deeply loyal and possesses a hidden, dry sense of humor.Eijiro Kirishima: The ultimate "bro." He is boisterous, incredibly kind, and obsessed with anything he deems "manly" (which to him means noble, brave, and honest). He is fiercely loyal, easily makes friends with anyone, and acts as the bridge between Bakugo and the rest of the class. The Social JokersDenki Kaminari: Casual, friendly, and a bit of a dense flirt. He loves looking cool and hanging out with girls, though his attempts usually fail. He is prone to panic under pressure and temporarily loses his sharp wit when his brain "short-circuits."Hanta Sero: Laid-back, sociable, and surprisingly cheeky. He is one of the most "normal" boys in the class, often acting as a straight man to the more eccentric students and playfully teasing his friends.Minoru Mineta: Highly intelligent but overwhelmingly driven by a desperate, perverted obsession with women. He is easily frightened, prone to crying or panicking in dangerous situations, and regularly gets scolded by his classmates for his inappropriate antics. The Dramatic & EccentricFumikage Tokoyami: Reserved, solemn, and intensely dramatic. He embraces a "gothic" aesthetic, frequently speaking in poetic, edgy phrases about darkness and destiny, though he becomes easily flustered when people point out how chuunibyou (delusional/melodramatic) he is being.Yuga Aoyama: Flamboyant, vain, and dramatic, with a heavy affection for French culture and anything that sparkles. He acts like a high-society prince to mask deep-seated insecurities about his own body and quirk. The Quiet & HumbleMashirao Ojiro: Deeply modest, hard-working, and self-aware. He often feels ordinary compared to his eccentric classmates and values fairness, martial arts discipline, and dignity above all else.Mezo Shoji: Mature, calm, and highly protective. Despite his intimidating size, he is incredibly gentle, selfless, and intellectual, rarely speaking unless it is to offer tactical advice or protect his friends.Rikido Sato: Sweet, cheerful, and domestic. Because his quirk requires him to eat sugar, he developed a passionate talent for baking sweets and cakes, making him very popular among his classmates.Koji Koda: Exceptionally shy, gentle, and quiet. He is terrified of conflict and insects, preferring the company of animals over humans, and only speaks in a soft voice when absolutely necessary.

Main Powerhouse Trio

Izuku Midoriya: Shorter build, messy dark-green hair, four freckles on each cheek, large green eyes, and extensive scarring on his hands and arms.

Katsuki Bakugo: Average height, muscular build, spiky ash-blonde hair, sharp red eyes, and a perpetually aggressive facial expression.Shoto Todoroki: Athletic build, short hair split evenly between white (right) and crimson (left), heterochromia eyes (left turquoise, right gray), and a large burn scar over his left eye.Close Friends & RivalsTenya Iida: Tall, broad-shouldered, muscular, with short-cropped dark blue hair, rectangular glasses, and distinct silver engine mufflers protruding from his calves.Eijiro Kirishima: Average height, muscular, with spiky bright red hair (originally black and flat), a small scar above his right eye, and sharp, pointed teeth.Denki Kaminari: Slim build, spiky blond hair with a black lightning-bolt-shaped streak on the left side, and yellow eyes.Striking & Unique DesignsFumikage Tokoyami: Shorter, muscular human body topped with a distinct black, bird-like head (resembling a crow or raven), a red choker, and a human mouth inside his beak.Mezo Shoji: The tallest student, exceptionally muscular, with long silver hair covering his face, and a blue mask covering his mouth. He has six large arms connected by a web of skin.Hanta Sero: Tall and lean, with a long face, triangular black eyes, spiky black hair, and large, cylindrical elbows shaped like tape dispensers.Martial Arts & Traditional LooksMashirao Ojiro: Athletic build, short blonde hair, small black eyes, and a very thick, muscular, skin-colored tail ending in a tuft of brown fur.Yuga Aoyama: Slim build, sparkling violet eyes, long eyelashes, and well-styled, shoulder-length blonde hair that swoops upward at the ends.Rikido Sato: Large, bulky, bodybuilder physique, spiky brown hair, small eyes, and prominent, thick yellow lips.Short & Beast-Like DesignsKoji Koda: Very tall, wide build, with a rocky, peach-colored head that tapers to a point (resembling a gorilla or a rock formation), and no visible nose.Minoru Mineta: The shortest student by far, with a very large head topped with four large, purple, grape-like spheres instead of hair.

Being Quirkless isn’t impossible but it’s extremely rare because only 20% of the population is Quirkless.

Shoto Todoroki: January 11 (Capricorn) Koji Koda: February 1 (Aquarius) Mezo Shoji: February 15 (Aquarius) Katsuki Bakugo: April 20 (Taurus) Mashirao Ojiro: May 28 (Gemini) Yuga Aoyama: May 30 (Gemini) Rikido Sato: June 19 (Gemini) Denki Kaminari: June 29 (Cancer) Izuku Midoriya: July 15 (Cancer) Hanta Sero: July 28 (Leo) Tenya Iida: August 22 (Leo) Minoru Mineta: October 8 (Libra) Eijiro Kirishima: October 16 (Libra) Fumikage Tokoyami: October 30 (Scorpio)

The Zodiac Twins: Class 1-A has no male students representing Aries, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces. Instead, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra are heavily represented. Age Order Oddity: Even though Todoroki's birthday falls earliest in the calendar year, Bakugo is actually the oldest student in the class because the Japanese school year begins in April.

Literal Phobias & Quirky Fears

Koji Koda: Insects and bugs. Despite having an "Anivoice" quirk that lets him command animals, he possesses a crippling fear of bugs. He famously had to scream through his terror to command a swarm of ants to defeat Present Mic in their practical exam.

Denki Kaminari: Isolation and hurting his friends.

Fumikage Tokoyami: Losing control of Dark Shadow. His quirk grows violently powerful and independent in complete darkness. His ultimate fear is completely losing his mind to his own quirk and harming innocent people, a trauma he faced during the Vanguard Action Squad invasion. Deeply Personal & Psychological Fears

Izuku Midoriya (Deku): Inability to save someone. Driven by a complex past and severe self-esteem issues rooted in being quirkless, Deku's deepest terror is standing by helplessly as someone dies or fails to be saved (which fuels his dangerous habit of sacrificing his own body).

Katsuki Bakugo: Weakness, helplessness, and failure. Underneath his wall of aggressive anger lies an immense terror of losing or being perceived as weak. This was severely worsened into intense claustrophobic trauma after he was bound, gagged, and held hostage by both the Sludge Villain and the League of Villains.

Shoto Todoroki: Becoming his father, Endeavor. For a long time, Shoto's primary fear was that using his fire side would turn him into a tyrannical monster like his father. Later in the series, his fear shifts toward the terror of his mother rejecting him or failing to pull his brother, Toya (Dabi), back from the brink.

Tenya Iida: Failing the "Ingenium" legacy. After his older brother Tensei was paralyzed by Stain, Iida became terrified of failing to live up to his family's noble name or being too slow to save a life when it matters most.

Eijiro Kirishima: Regret and cowardice. In middle school, Kirishima froze in fear when a villain threatened his classmates. His absolute greatest psychological fear is hesitating again and living with the crushing weight of regret. Performance & Insecurity Anxieties

Mashirao Ojiro: Mediocrity and being carried. As a highly traditional martial artist with a simple physical tail quirk, Ojiro deeply fears being useless or unearned in his accomplishments. This fear caused him to forfeit his spot in the Sports Festival tournament because he couldn't remember his victory while brainwashed.

Mezo Shoji: Scaring others / Generating hatred. Because of his mutant-type appearance, Shoji grew up facing severe prejudice and physical violence in his hometown. He covers his face with a mask because he fears his appearance will frighten or traumatize young children.

Minoru Mineta: Dying uncool and unnoticed. While mostly used for comedic relief, Mineta's underlying anxiety is that he is fundamentally a coward who will never achieve the fame, validation, or romantic attention he desperately seeks.

Rikido Sato & Hanta Sero: Hitting a ceiling / Obscurity. Both characters suffer from standard hero-course anxiety. They fear that their relatively straightforward quirks (sugar-rush strength and tape manipulation) will not scale high enough to protect their friends from world-ending villain threats. Katsuki Bakugo is canonically afraid of ghosts and ghost stories. While he maintains an incredibly aggressive, fearless exterior in battle against villains, this superstitious phobia is one of his few comical, childlike vulnerabilities. Where is it Revealed? The Light Novels: His fear is explicitly established in the official spin-off series, My Hero Academia: School Briefs (Volume 3, Chapter 4: "UA Hyakumonogatari"). During a night of telling 100 ghost stories in the UA dorms, Bakugo tries to maintain a blank poker face but is actually completely terrified the entire time. The Test of Courage: This fear is also hinted at during the Forest Training Camp arc in the main series. When Class 1-A plays the Test of Courage game in the woods, Bakugo is highly defensive and even lets Shoto Todoroki walk in front of him—completely breaking his usual rule of always leading the pack. A Hilarious Childhood Secret According to supplementary character lore, Bakugo's superstition runs so deep that when they were kids, Izuku Midoriya accidentally made Bakugo pass out from fear. Midoriya had dressed up as a simple ghost for Halloween, unaware of Bakugo's phobia, and completely scared the pants off of him. Denki Kaminari later finds out about this secret and uses it to tease him. He hates the rain and the winter because it reduces the power of his Quirk. Outside of combat, Bakugo has a few mundane dislikes. He despises rainy weather and is canonically terrified of ghost stories and paranormal things. He has a hidden musical side: Bakugo is secretly quite musically talented. He knows how to play the drums, often air-drums to songs when listening to music, and occasionally relaxes by listening to classical music like his father does.

U.A. is the #1 ranked school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K.

As stated by Shota Aizawa, U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. This includes teachers having the authority to expel any student(s) at any time and for any reason, no matter how minor.[1] Furthermore, students who are expelled can be re-enrolled, although the expulsion will still remain on their permanent records.[2]

U.A. is renowned for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist,[3] all of whom earned their way into the top 10 of Japan's Hero Rankings.

Once a year, U.A. holds a tournament called the U.A. Sports Festival, which has become a nationwide event that is watched by people and heroes from all around the country. Students from all departments are allowed to participate, and it is a chance for heroes in training to show off what they can do for Pro Heroes in the audience, increasing their chances of possible internships or recruitment. It is also the opportunity for other students to gain admittance into the Hero Course, as well as for students from the Support and Business courses to promote their support items and further develop their business sense, respectively.

U.A. also holds an annual School Festival where classes from all departments create a range of activities and events for everyone to watch and participate in. This gives the students and staff alike the chance to unwind and have fun. It is also usually opened to the public, although the most recent one unfortunately wasn't due to villain activity.

Like many schools, each class in U.A. has a class representative and vice class representative. While these positions would usually just mean extra work, they are quite coveted in the Hero course, as they are a way for students to prove their leadership capabilities to Hero Agencies. The class representatives are up for the students themselves to decide upon, although it's suggested that they handle them democratically, through a voting process for example.[4] The school has a six day school days, but has a day off on Sunday. At the entrance, there is a security wall nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" that automatically closes if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID. Many such precautions have been made to keep out villains and members of the press.

The main building has: class a and b classrooms, Development Studio, Lunch Rush Cafeteria, Recovery Girl’s Nurse’s Office, Conference Room, P.E Grounds, Teacher’s Lounge, Principal’s Office, Administration Office, Equipment Room and Locker Rooms Campuses: Ground Beta, Ground Gamma, Ground Omega, Gym Gamma, School Grounds: Forested Area, Sports Festival Stadium, Unforseen Simulation Joint, and the swimming pool

All Departments

Japanese, math, science, and foreign languages, among other subjects, are all compulsory subjects. Students in every department study these core subjects and will change year by year.[6]

Department of Heroes

Students learn everything they need to know to become excellent heroes in service of the community and work towards the qualifications necessary to be allowed to use their Quirks in public spaces. They are trained in battle, first aid, and all manner of heroics-related lessons.[6] Ordinary subjects, such as English, take place in the morning, followed by lunch. Then, in the afternoon, Heroics classes take place.[12]

Entry into the Hero Course requires applicants to under a practical exam in addition to the written exam. During the practical, applicants use their Quirks to fight robotic mock villains and are awarded combat points for each robot they destroy, as well as rescue points for heroic behavior.

These students belong to Classes A and B.

Department of General Education

Students who don't make the cut for the hero department are included in this department. It boasts a top-notch education with an eclectic lineup of teachers. The department of general education supports students aiming for college and other pursuits. It is also possible for students with exceptional grades to be transferred to the hero department.

These students belong to Classes C, D, and E.

Department of Support

Students in this department focus on developing support equipment that help heroes out on the battlefield. With a workspace stocked to the brim with all sorts of special tools, the department provides an unmatched creative environment.

These students belong to Classes F, G, and H.

Department of Management

This department focuses on all aspects of heroic business, from the founding and managing hero agencies to promotion of public opinion regarding heroes. They even do hands-on lessons in venture capitalism.

Theses students belong to Classes I, J, and K.

Timetable

Students in the Hero Course have an additional Period (lasting from 15:20~16:10).

The lessons themselves depend on the department but the general daily schedule (for students not enrolled in the Hero Course) is as follows:[6]

Timetable Period Start Time End Time Short Homeroom 8:25 8:35 1st 8:40 9:30 2nd 9:40 10:30 3rd 10:40 11:30 4th 11:40 12:30 Lunch 12:30 13:20 5th 13:20 14:10 6th 14:20 15:10

The U.A. student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes on the collar and hem of the sleeves, a red tie, and brown square-toed loafers. The boys uniform includes dark blue-green pants and a brown belt with a gold-colored rectangular buckle, while the girls uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt, and a small, golden button on their ties. Once students enter the U.A. building, they switch to wearing white slip-on shoes. In the summer months, the students lose the gray blazer and instead wear a short-sleeve, button-up white shirt with blue-green hems on top of the sleeves.

Each department has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course having one button on each shoulder, the Support course having two, General Studies having two with a button gap between them, and Management having three buttons on each shoulder.

The U.A. P.E. uniform is a pair of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and a dark blue short sleeve shirt with white lines that form the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter variation of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt with a higher collar. The P.E. shoes are white for boys, and pink for girls. While U.A. students are required to wear these uniforms, it seems the faculty is lax about enforcing students to wear their uniforms properly; Katsuki Bakugo wears his uniform with the top buttons undone, no tie, and his pants sagging. Izuku Midoriya wears his tie not tied properly. The faculty don't seem to mind students wearing non-uniform footwear for their outdoor shoes and P.E. shoes, with Izuku wearing his iconic red high tops, Shoto Todoroki wearing pale cyan and gray sneakers, etc. As seen with Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Oboro Shirakumo, non-uniform belts are allowed. And as seen with Eijiro Kirishima, Yuyu Haya, and Mawata Fuwa, hair dye and piercings are also allowed. Principle is Nezu, Recovery Girl is Nurse, Lunch Rush is Chef, Rescue Training Specialist is Thirteen, Head of Student Discipline is Hound Dog, teachers are All Might, Heroics Teacher, class a homeroom is Aizawa, English Teacher is Present Mic, Modern Literature is Cementoss, Modern Hero Art History is Midnight, Heroics Teacher is Snipe, Mathematics Teacher is Eptoplasm, and Vlad King is class B homeroom teacher.

U.A.'s Development Studio is a workshop dedicated to Costume adjustments. It is located on the first floor of U.A. High School's main building and is managed by Power Loader. The Development Studio has been frequently used by Mei since the start of her first school year in U.A. When Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tenya Ida visited the studio for the first time in order to request adjustments to their costumes, they were greeted by an explosion caused by Mei. Power Loader implied that similar events have happened in the past. Having moved into the nearby Heights Alliance dorms, Mei was granted permission from Power Loader to use the Development Studio whenever she pleases.

Lunch Rush is a large food court with many venues for students to buy their food at low prices. There are several long tables, each with ten chairs to sit on, Chinese-themed decorations, and large double doors.[1]

Lunch Rush, a Pro Hero, serves a variety of the first-rate cuisine in school lunches.[2]

Recovery Girl's Nurse's Office is an infirmary located in U.A. It is maintained by Recovery Girl. The interior of the office has a work desk for Recovery Girl, including a computer and a drawer with unspecified medicine next to it. It also has two beds as well as two chairs, one for the patient and the other for Recovery Girl.[1] The whole room is decorated with medicinal posters on the walls.

The Conference Room is a spacious room with light blue paint, large pane glass windows, and some potted plants. Following the League of Villains’ assault on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, the teachers of U.A. gathered in the Conference Room to discuss various topics about the incident, including upgrading the school security system, and observations about the two villains who managed to escape.

In the center of the room is a large conference table, possibly comprised of three desks, with a number of chairs.

The P.E. Grounds consist of various locations for various fitness tests.

This includes a running track for the 50-meter dash, a sandpit for the long jump, and a pitching circle for the softball throw.

These locations are each equipped with a robotic proctor that measures a student's success in each test.

As opposed to middle schools, who prohibited the use of Quirks in physical education, Quirks are not only allowed, but required on the U.A. P.E. Grounds.

Shota Aizawa used the P.E. Grounds as the site for his Quirk Apprehension Test on the first day of the school year.[1]

The Teachers Lounge is a room with gray floors and tan walls. There are a pair of sofas with a coffee table in between. It is also equipped with a coffee machine.

During the League of Villains attack on the Unforseen Simulation Joint, All Might took some time to rest in the Teachers Lounge after using up his daily time limit. All Might was about to leave for the U.S.J. when Principal Nezu came in and scolded All Might for using his weakening Quirk so carelessly, sitting him down to have tea and lecture him while All Might was regaining his strength.

The Principal's Office is a room with blue-gray floors and gray walls, with the back wall being a huge window.

The room contains a large wooden desk and a swivel chair adapted to the small size of Nezu and several file cabinet of different sizes,

There are a pair of black sofas with a coffee table in between. At some point, while All Might was looking for a successor, he met Nezu in his office, who hired Toshinori as a teacher, and suggested Mirio Togata as a possible candidate which he didn’t do and passed it to Midoriya when All Might met him which only they and the U.A staff know of, Nezu included.

the Administration Office handles institutional operations, faculty coordination, and student programs. It serves as a key setting where significant administrative events and private discussions occur, such as when Toshinori (All Might) oversees student paperwork and Hero Work-Studies.The administrative faculty and staff manage the daily operations and security of the academy:Principal Nezu: The primary administrator and superintendent of U.A. High, overseeing all academic operations.Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head): Often handles administrative logistics, scheduling, and homeroom responsibilities for Class 1-A alongside his teaching duties. The Teaching Staff: Includes heroes like Present Mic, Midnight, and Cementoss, who assist with school policy enforcement, festival coordination, and security protocols.Support & Medical: Administrative roles extend to Recovery Girl, who manages medical records and health clearance for students.

In My Hero Academia, the designated workshop for creating, storing, and adjusting student hero costumes and gear is the Development Studio. Located on the first floor of the U.A. High main building, it is managed by the Pro Hero Power Loader.U.A. High Facilities & Support GearDevelopment Studio: This is where U.A.'s Support Department students (like Mei Hatsume) invent gadgets and tailor hero equipment. It features heavy machinery, blueprints, and executive tools.Equipment Room: In U.A. documentation, this area specifically refers to an additional storage and locker area dedicated to housing specialized hero equipment and custom costume pieces when not in use on the field.Gym Gamma: Also known as the Training Kitchen Land, this facility was designed by Cementoss to allow students to develop new techniques and test out their support gear in a highly adaptable environment.

In My Hero Academia, the U.A. facilities feature separate locker and changing rooms typically located near the P.E. grounds and Gym Gamma. These communal areas are primarily used by students transitioning out of their regular school uniforms and into their specialized Hero Costumes before training exercises.Locker and Changing Room DesignWithin the established lore, U.A. High School features gender-neutral or separate-gender facilities depending on the specific building or gym. Fans have extensively cataloged and shared how these dressing areas function and look, which you can browse through collections of MHA Changing Room inspiration.Dormitory Facilities vs. Locker RoomsFollowing the Vanguard Action Squad incident, the students relocated to the Heights Alliance dormitories. While dorm rooms feature individual sinks and toilets, the communal bathing areas and showers are separated by gender into left and right wings. The community has frequently discussed the The shower situation in the dorms and how the boys' and girls' facilities are structured in comparison to the larger school locker rooms.

Ground Beta is a training course that emulates a standard urban area, with streets and buildings. Several of its buildings also contain monitoring rooms in their basements, where indoor exercises can be observed.

Ground Gamma consists of an industrial site compiled by many factories that form a labyrinth. The labyrinth contains tons of heavy machinery including cranes and pipelines.

Ground Omega is an extensive wooded area where there are some rocky hills. The entire area is surrounded by a great wall and has a single entrance with the letter omega above it. The place is used to carry out practices and school training of various kinds.

Gym Gamma consists of a large, empty, and enclosed space. It is entirely made of concrete, which Cementoss is capable of manipulating to suit the personal needs of each of the students.

The Sports Festival stadium is an oval-shaped, open building that features a stand with three floors and several screens for the festival.

The arena of the stadium itself consists of a circular space with a flat square of concrete in the center, surrounded by grass. It also has many gates that lead in and out of the field. During the fighting tournament, a concrete platform is built by Cementoss in the middle of the field, with torches located in each of the platform's corners and a concrete throne from where Cementoss observes the fights during the festival.

The stadium also features a branch nurse's office, as well as waiting rooms for the participants.

Outside the stadium is a break room for staff, most notably for the security team of Pro Heroes, such as Mt. Lady, Death Arms, and Kamui Woods, as they use it to relax, along with discussing and watching the Sports Festival. Before Quirks, the "Olympics" was popular worldwide, but when the population shrunk, the "Olympics" declined. This led to the rise of the Sports Festival, and the stadium was built to host it.[1]

The stadium was used as the main setting of the U.A. Sports Festival Arc, where the U.A. students competed against each other in three sports events: obstacle race, cavalry battle, and 1-on-1 fight tournament.

The Unforseen Simulation Joint often abbreviated as U.S.J., is a training facility located in U.A. High School.[1] Its purpose is to train Hero students for disaster rescue. The facility consists of a dome-shaped building composed of eight main sections, with six of them emulating a particular disaster scenario:[2]

Entrance: The entrance to the building, consisting of a large blue gate. Located to the north. Central Plaza: The central area that connects to the simulation area's as well as the main entrance. Ruins Zone: Located in the northeast, this zone simulates a destroyed urban environment, with buildings found in precarious conditions. Landslide Zone: Located to the east, this zone simulates sloped terrain with assorted debris. Mountain Zone: Located to the south, this zone simulates a rocky, mountainous area filled with cliffs. Conflagration Zone: Located to the southwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly on fire. Flood Zone: Located to the west, this zone simulates a maritime environment with a lake, a ship, and even a waterslide. Downpour Zone: Located to the northwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly hit by heavy rainfall and strong winds. Additionally, the building is equipped with sensors that detect intruders.

The Unforeseen Simulation Joint was idealized by the Pro Hero and teacher Thirteen as a way to train students on how to act through disaster situations.[1]

During the U.S.J. Arc, the building was invaded by the League of Villains. Through one of its members, Kurogiri, most of the students of Class 1-A were teleported to the various zones located in the facility, where several minor villains awaited for them. The ambushes were unsuccessful though, as most of the students were capable of fighting back themselves until the arrival of reinforcements. The Heights Alliance is a group of several dormitories inside the U.A. High School campus, where its students are currently housed.

The establishment of the Heights Alliance was ruminated by the U.A. faculty for a considerable amount of time. Following the intense Villain attacks toward U.A. students, Nezu transformed U.A. into a boarding school with on site dorms in order to protect its students. The Heights Alliance was built in just three days. During this time, the teachers visited their students' families to gain permission for them to live there. It is meant to protect the students and allows the teachers to keep close surveillance on the students.[1]

The night after moving in, the students of Class 1-A decided to have a best room contest (more specifically, the girls decided and the guys were dragged along into it). After seeing all the rooms and setting a "no voting for yourself" rule, everyone voted on their favorite room. Rikido Sato was victorious because all the girls voted for him; although, it wasn't because they liked his room the most, but because he had just baked a cake to share with everyone.

The Heights Alliance dorms are located on U.A.'s main campus in Musutafu, Japan. There are many dorm buildings for every U.A. class, with each of them just being a five-minute walk from the main building.[4]

The Heights Alliance dormitories are large buildings with five floors separated into two wings, with each building having its respective class name posted above a sign that reads "Alliance". Each building is circled by low hedge bushes that leave a path open to the entrance, which is comprised of two sets of double doors. Alongside the pathway are two park benches and two towers with lights on them. The first level of the building is white while the upper levels are colored brown on the outside[4], with a courtyard outside the first level as well.

Each dorm building is designed to hold one class of twenty students, though it could house as many as thirty-two. The first floor is a common area with couches, tables, television, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Dorm rooms begin on the second floor and end on the fifth floor; each floor has eight rooms in total, four rooms per gender. Males are assigned to the left wing and females are assigned to the right wing.

Every student gets their own room equipped with air conditioning, toilets, beds, fridges, closets, and a balcony. Ochaco Uraraka, coming from a lower-income family, compares the size of the building to a mansion. Momo Yaoyorozu, on the other hand, who had a wealthy upbringing, says the dorm rooms are close to the size of the closets at her estate. Students are able to customize their rooms to their own liking, such as Shoto Todoroki's room being more Japanese-style, similar to the one at his home.

He is the grandson of Dr. Kyudai Garaki (who originally went by "Dr. Tsubasa"). Tragically, Tsubasa's wings were harvested, and he was transformed into the High-End Winged Nomu.Tsubasa's Story and FateChildhood Bully: As a kid, Tsubasa was a close friend to Bakugo but frequently bullied a young, quirkless Izuku Midoriya alongside him.The Doctor's Grandson: His grandfather, Dr. Tsubasa, was the physician who diagnosed Midoriya as quirkless in the first episode/chapter, and later became All For One's personal doctor and creator of the Nomu. The Winged Nomu: Tsubasa was used as a test subject for All For One and the Doctor's dark experiments. His Quirk was extracted and he was turned into a Winged Nomu.Tsubasa's QuirkUnnamed Wing Quirk: Tsubasa possesses two large, leathery red dragon-like wings that grant him the ability of flight. As a Nomu, this quirk was enhanced, allowing for high-speed aerial maneuvers and immense carrying capacity. All they know is that he went missing before they were in middle school. In the My Hero Academia storyline, Katsuki Bakugo gets kidnapped during the Forest Training Camp Arc, which takes place in August (specifically, early-to-mid August in the in-universe timeline). Kirishima calls Bakugo Bakubro and Kaminari sometimes calls him Kacchan to get him mad because he only lets his childhood friends call him that. Bakugo’s dorm has a smart style to it. Quirky & Everyday Fears

Denki Kaminari: The "Wheee" State. Kaminari has a genuine, looming anxiety about short-circuiting his own brain. Crossing his wattage limit turns him into a helpless, giggling mess for an hour, leaving him completely vulnerable and embarrassed in front of his peers.

Fumikage Tokoyami: Bright Lights and Flashbangs. Because Dark Shadow shrivels up, grows weak, and becomes completely docile when exposed to intense light, Tokoyami hates blindingly bright environments. He is highly uncomfortable around things like sudden camera flashes or strobe lights.

Rikido Sato: A Sugar Crash. Because his "Sugar Rush" quirk requires clean glucose to function, Sato has a practical fear of running out of sweets or experiencing a massive energy crash mid-battle, which heavily drains his cognitive functions and leaves him sleepy. Shoto Todoroki: Boiling Water. While Shoto has largely overcome his hatred for his fire powers, he retains a deep, subconscious aversion to boiling water. The sight and sound of a boiling kettle can trigger involuntary flashbacks to the childhood trauma of his mother scalding his face.

Katsuki Bakugo: Being Restrained. In addition to ghosts, Bakugo despises being physically tied down or having his mouth covered. This triggers intense claustrophobic anger stemming from when the Sludge Villain suffocated him, and when the League of Villains chained and gagged him on live television. Profound Hero Failures

Tenya Iida: Losing His Path to Vengeance. Iida's biggest psychological fear is reverting to the blind, unheroic rage he felt during his hunt for Stain. He is deeply afraid of letting personal anger override his duty to protect citizens ever again.

Izuku Midoriya (Deku): All Might’s Death / Returning to Quirklessness. Throughout the series, Deku is plagued by Nighteye’s grim prophecy regarding All Might's demise. Subconsciously, he also carries a lingering, childhood fear of waking up completely powerless and unable to help anyone. Katsuki Bakugo: "The Intimidator"The Style: Slams cards down like weapons. The Strategy: He searches his hand exclusively for aggressive roasts, insults, or threats of physical violence. If he is the judge, he refuses to read any card that sounds "weak" or "sappy." If he loses a round, he accuses the judge of being biased and threatens to blast the coffee table.Izuku Midoriya (Deku): "The Stressed Analyst"The Style: Mutters quietly, face bright red, sweating profusely. The Strategy: He overthinks the grammatical structure of the text messages. He gets deeply uncomfortable reading mature cards out loud, often rewording them himself. He usually resorts to playing self-deprecating cards that sound like a stressed-out adult having a minor breakdown.Shoto Todoroki: "The Accidental Comedian"The Style: Completely deadpan, unbothered expression. The Strategy: He does not understand modern texting slang, internet dating culture, or memes. He reads his cards with absolute literalism, choosing replies that sound like a formal, logical answer to the prompt. This lack of awareness makes his plays accidentally the most unhinged and hilarious at the table.Tenya Iida: "The Cellular Policeman"The Style: Aggressive, robotic hand-chopping.The Strategy: He treats the card game like a mock trial for text-message etiquette. He uses his rounds as judge to lecture the class on how a proper hero should communicate. He only plays cards that sound highly authoritarian, responsible, or professional (e.g., "UNSUBSCRIBE").Denki Kaminari: "The Impulsive Chaos-Baiter"The Style: Non-stop laughing, leaning across the furniture. The Strategy: He rarely reads his entire hand of cards. He just picks a card with a funny-sounding word or a chaotic premise and throws it into the pile. He always laughs at his own jokes before reading them out loud and completely forgets whose turn it is to judge.Hanta Sero: "The Savage Sniper"The Style: Smug grin, leaning back with his hands behind his head. The Strategy: The undisputed master of the game. Sero has a perfectly dry sense of humor and knows exactly how to pair the most innocent inbox prompts with absolutely devastating, soul-crushing psychological burns. He plays to win and loves making Deku gasp.Eijiro Kirishima: "The Wholesome Hype Man"The Style: Loud laughing, slapping people on the back. The Strategy: He actively discards any cards that feel mean-spirited, cruel, or "unmanly." Even in an unfiltered deck, Kirishima hunts for cards that mention working out, eating food, or being a loyal friend, completely turning mature prompts into wholesome gym-bro invitations.Fumikage Tokoyami: "The Gothic Poetic"The Style: Sitting deep in the shadows of an armchair. The Strategy: He treats the text-message deck like a gothic poetry slam. He only plays cards that mention darkness, existential dread, doom, or shadows. He reads them in a low, dramatic whisper while Dark Shadow hovers over his shoulder to nod in solemn agreement.Yuga Aoyama: "The Flamboyant Diva"The Style: Posing dramatically, glittering under the dorm lights. The Strategy: Aoyama only cares about cards that allow him to talk about French phrases, elegance, beauty, or himself. If a card doesn't sound fabulous, he refuses to play it, frequently complaining that the yellow and white cards clash with his outfit.Mezo Shoji: "The Quiet Shield"The Style: Sitting cross-legged on the floor, keeping the peace. The Strategy: He plays incredibly polite, quiet cards to keep the room grounded. His main job during game night isn't even playing—it’s physically holding Bakugo back from tackling Kaminari, or using his multiple arms to block Mineta from peeking at everyone else's hands.Mashirao Ojiro: "The Normal Guy"The Style: Sitting on his own tail, scratching the back of his neck. The Strategy: Ojiro is the most normal person at the table. He plays very middle-of-the-road, sensible cards. He often gets completely overwhelmed by how unhinged Sero and Bakugo are being and spends half the game wondering why he agreed to play.Minoru Mineta: "The Banned Debauchee"The Style: Drooling, vibrating with excitement in the corner. The Strategy: He aggressively hunts for the most explicit, mature cards in the deck. However, his strategy completely backfires because Kaminari (the judge) takes one look at Mineta's overly gross cards and immediately throws them into the trash can without reading them aloud.Rikido Sato: "The Sugar-Crashed Casual"The Style: Snacking on homemade baked goods at the edge of the table. The Strategy: He treats the game very casually. He tends to play cards related to food, baking, or being tired. If the game goes on past midnight, his energy completely crashes and he starts playing random cards just so he can go to sleep.Koji Koda: "The Silent Passer"The Style: Hiding behind Shoji, barely peeking over his cards. The Strategy: Koda is far too pure for an unfiltered deck. He gets so flustered by the mature text prompts that he often just passes his turn or plays the most harmless, empty card in his hand, communicating his embarrassment through frantic hand gestures.
