King Hydra

The King Hydra is an Orochi with purple skin and a blue underbelly.

A five-headed fiend whose blazing breath can rapidly reduce enemies to ash—along with everything else. From guarding a demon king's castle to humbling a hero of yore, this merciless beast has spawned legends galore.

The King Hydra makes its first appearance fighting Erdrick's father Ortega and kills him, causing his death in his son's arms. It is later the first of three monsters Erdrick and his companions fight before facing its master, Zoma. King Hydras can also appear as random encounters in the Cloudsgate Citadel bonus dungeon of the remakes.
