Shizuku has a kind and mature personality. She worries a lot about disappointing her fans, feeling she must maintain a "perfect" image, but after the event My Color! she begins to show her authentic self on livestreams. While she appears very calm and poised, she does have some quirks, such as putting miso soup in her thermos and being extremely bad with technology. As she grows as an idol, she becomes determined to stay true to herself, not the perfect image she had before.

Shizuku can also be a bit air-headed, as according to her sister Shiho, she loves going on walks but can't remember any of the street names. As shown in multiple area conversations, she gets lost even in places familiar to her, such as the shopping mall.

Shizuku has light blue eyes with long eyelashes and long, light blue hair, worn loose and wavy, some of which covers her face. She has a mole near the right corner of her lip. Her voice is light and airy.

Shizuku wears a white baggy top that show her shoulders with long sleeves that frill out at the end, buttons going down the middle, a long cutaway collar, tied together with a black belt on her hips. She also wears a long skirt with two layers; the lower layer being a pale, semi-transparent blue fabric, the top layer being a denim, also light blue with a sky blue stripe at the end. The skirt has three buttons. While training on the rooftop, she has a purple tank-top, a white cropped jacket that is mostly open, lavender shorts with thin white stripes at the bottom and black tights. Sometimes she'll tie her hair in a loose ponytail.

In her third year, her casual outfit consists of a translucent, silver lace shirt decorated with flowers under a green strap-sleeve dress with a belt, and a light brown watch on her left wrist.

Shizuku is the former leader of the idol group Cheerful*Days, specifically its 3rd generation. Her friend applied to the position for her without Shizuku's knowledge, but she decided to go with it after passing their audition and being awarded as the "Grand Prix winner". She trained to become an idol at the same time as Airi, who openly viewed her as a rival.

Eventually, her agency forced her to act out the image of a "perfect idol", leading to her being known among the fans for her beautiful, mysterious, and mature appearance. However, this caused jealousy from the other members of her group, who were forced to constantly back her up, which eventually led to them thinking that she has no special talent and is only popular for her looks. Her groupmates' resentment towards Shizuku built up even more due to her hectic schedule and inability to prioritize Cheerful*Days' activities.[1][2]

One day, Shizuku meets Minori on the school rooftop, who she agrees to help train along with Airi. However, after increasing tensions in her idol group and an argument with Airi, she decides to leave Cheerful*Days. Minori and Airi give her the hope to be an idol again, and after performing a show for Haruka in the Stage SEKAI, the four of them create MORE MORE JUMP!

The Stage SEKAI is a world of stages illuminated by countless glowsticks where the VIRTUAL SINGERs perform. It was created from the girls' dreams and the determination of becoming an idol. There are a vast amount of stages, and it is unknown how far the stages go on for.

Airi has cerise eyes and long, messy coral pink hair that falls below her shoulder blades, with two clumps of hair tied into small loose fluffy pigtails near the top. Her voice is energetic and lively.

Airi shares a similar outfit to that of the rest of her group members: a white sleeveless blouse with a black ribbon underneath a vest, a black and white ruffled skirt with multiple layers, a loose black belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, and white heeled shoes. The design of Airi's vest is similar to Shizuku's. Airi's outfit differs the most from her members, in the way that her blouse is cropped above the waist. Additionally, she has the color pink accenting her outfit, a white ruffled arm band on her upper left arm, and white bracelet-like sleeves.

Her group's new uniform consists of a white double-breasted coat with flouncy sleeves, a dark gray belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, a skirt over a longer white skirt, and white heeled shoes. The coat neckline, overskirt, and shoe cuffs have a blue plaid appearance. Accessories include dark gray ribbons pinned with gold three-leaf clovers, white wrist cuffs, and three-leaf clover ribbon hair ties. Her outfit's accent color is pink. Unlike her group members, her coat is cropped above her waist.

Airi is strong-minded and comes across as pushy to some. According to Minori, she is strict but reliable. She is very protective of her friends and family, and hates bullies. She was more tomboyish as a child, though that was frequently shot down by her mother. Airi retains some of her headstrong attitude, though cares greatly for her friends as well as her siblings, taking a sisterly role with both.[7]

Before joining her unit, she would frequently think back on her past, bitter of how her agency ended up using her as a TV personality and disregarded her idol activities completely. When she would do this, she'd become snappy and irrational to those who would confront her about her attitude, insulting them, only to feel guilty afterwards.

Minori has light grey eyes and shoulder-length light brown hair, worn loose with blunt bangs. The right side of her hair is braided and clipped back with an orange and white flower pin, which had four petals in her first year and gained a fifth in her second. Her voice is gentle, bright, and optimistic.

Her unit outfit is similar to that of the rest of her group members: a white sleeveless blouse with a black ribbon underneath a vest, a black and white ruffled skirt with multiple layers, a loose black belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, and white heeled shoes. The design of Minori's vest is the same as Haruka's. Minori's outfit differs with the color orange accenting her outfit and a white ruffled arm band on her upper right arm.

Minori is an optimistic, hard-working girl who has shown her determination and dedication to becoming an idol, something others often compliment her on. She has a kind heart and tries to be considerate of others. However, she is also clumsy, tends to get panicked easily, and often has trouble keeping her composure. This is accompanied by her habit of saying whatever's on her mind, and she seems to find it easy to express her emotions without restraint, purposefully or not. Despite her clumsiness, she is extremely disciplined, both in idol training and in her habit of daily writing.[3]

She looks up to many of her friends and classmates and aspires to be like them. As she grows as both a person and an upcoming idol, she desires to bring the happiness that Haruka used to feel as an idol before retirement. Although it may not seem like so upon first meeting her, she is an empathetic and emotionally mature young girl. She has a habit of repeating the phrase "more and more" ("もっともっと", motto motto in Japanese).

Haruka has calm, light blue eyes and short blue hair, worn loose and swept bangs that cover her forehead. Her voice is warm and mellow.

Haruka shares a similar outfit to that of the rest of her group members: a white sleeveless blouse with a black ribbon underneath a vest, a black and white ruffled skirt with multiple layers, a loose black belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, and white heeled shoes. The design of Haruka's vest is the same as Minori's. Haruka's outfit differs with the color blue accenting her outfit, her blouse being tucked out of her skirt, and a thin yellow bracelet on her left wrist. Her head accessory is a small bow of multiple colors---Black, white, and blue---and a unique design.

Haruka is very charismatic, formerly being the most popular member of ASRUN. In Minori's words, she is "the kind of idol who is able to give everyone hope for a better tomorrow".[6] She is a strict and dedicated person, working in regular routines of rigorous workouts to stay at an idol's standard. However, due to her overly diligent nature, she has difficulty relaxing and giving herself a break. This dedication applies to her studies, as the VIRTUAL SINGERS mention her excellent grades.[7] She restricts herself on sweets and pastries, which, in response, causes cravings. She is attentive to the schedules and specials of pastry shops.

Haruka is composed yet bold, unafraid to talk back and tease her friends. She is rather sporty, liking basketball, and as a child she was quite competitive. She also loves penguins, owns a ton of penguin merch, and sometimes gets emotional when receiving penguin merch as a gift
