'Run!' someone yelled outside and then there was a loud bang following it. Alek immediately stood to check what was going on; just a board falling over for whatever reason. His heart was racig and his knuckles were white as he gripped the window frame, his other hand on his hip. He found himself scowling as he watched the students laughing and having fun outside. He didn't begrudge them their games but he wished he didn't have flashbacks because of them.

Alek was still stood at the window when a knock at his door brought his attention back to the present.
