[Backstory]

• Was born September 15th, which makes him a Virgo.
• When Travis was 12 years old, he had gotten a back surgery for an issue he had with his spine.
• One day, a kid at school caught glimpse of his back scar and started a rumor that Travis had one of his ribs removed in order to be able to suck his own dick. The tumor had resulted in Travis being nicknamed “Flex”.
• Travis Martinez is the son of Bill Martinez, the head coach of the WHS Yellowjackets.
• Though not a member of the team himself, he nevertheless joins his father and younger brother, Javi, on Flight 2525 to the nationals. His life is turned upside-down when the plane crashes in the wilderness of Canada and his father is killed in the crash.
• Following the initial shock of the crash and his father's death, Travis chastises his brother Javi, forcing him to spit out a piece of gum that his father gave him before the crash. He tells Javi that their father is the whole reason they're in this mess and now he's dead.
• Travis discovers a rifle at the cabin that the survivors have taken refuge at. Seeing him with it, the girls call him stupid for using it without knowing what he's doing, but he replies that what's stupid is them having a gun but not using it.
• Ultimately, the competition comes down to just the two of them. Travis gets four of the five targets, but misses on the fifth, causing Natalie to go again mock as "Flex.”
