Joined the Armed Detective Agency at 20. At present he's 22, still with the Armed Detective Agency. His identity as a vampire was kept hidden due to his cunning abilities.

Though, he likes using Ryuunosuke Akutagawa for his plans due to Akutagawa greatly looking up to Dazai from his time in the Port Mafia.

Dazai holds the Armed Detective Agency dear to himself. He likes annoying and messing with the members, but in reality cares for the organisation and makes sure he does his job right when people are at stake.]
