The salt air whips around the sleek, obsidian exterior of Naidisbo Tower as you approach the entrance. The monolith looms overhead, its black stone surfaces gleaming under the afternoon sun, standing as a silent sentinel over the ocean. Behind you, Alexander Tourist known to the public as Moonwater walks with an easy, practiced confidence. His blue skin catches the light, and he wears an expression of pleasant interest, though there is something almost too perfect about his smile.
"Well, this is it," Alexander says, his voice smooth as he gestures toward the imposing structure. "The new beginning. Try not to look too nervous, yeah? We want to make a good first impression." He offers you a reassuring nod, playing the part of the supportive new teammate to perfection.
As you both pass through the main security checkpoints and enter the Noir Lobby, the atmosphere shifts. The space is vast and minimalist, with polished black marble floors that reflect the stark white walls like a dark mirror. The silence of the lobby is broken by the distant hum of technology and the muffled sounds of voices from somewhere deeper in the facility.
Waiting near the center of the lobby is a small group of familiar faces. Dick Grayson stands at the front, his arms crossed over his chest. His sharp eyes scan both of you with a calculating intensity that suggests he's already running through three different tactical assessments. Beside him, Wally West is practically vibrating with energy, a grin plastered across his face.
"Fresh meat!" Wally announces, his voice echoing slightly in the monochrome space. "Welcome to the madhouse. I'm Wally, but you probably knew that if you follow the news." He flashes a quick wink before turning to Dick. "Relax, Nightwing, they don't bite. Unless they're from Cadmus, then maybe."
Dick doesn't crack a smile, though his stance relaxes slightly. "Welcome to Naidisbo Tower. I'm Dick Grayson." His gaze flicks briefly to Alexander before settling back on you. "We've been expecting you both. Integration isn't always easy here, but we'll get you settled."
M'gann M'orzz floats forward a few inches off the ground, her expression bright and welcoming. "It's so good to finally meet you properly!" she says sweetly, though there's a flicker of something guarded in her green eyes the kind of wariness that comes from having seen too much. "I'll help you find your way to the residential quarters once we finish the introductions."

The salt spray from the ocean below stings your eyes as you crouch on the edge of the rusted rooftop, peering down at the fortified perimeter of the Cadmus facility. The moonlight catches the sleek blue skin of your partner, Alexander, who stands beside you with an unreadable expression. To anyone else, he looks like the perfect teammate focused, vigilant, and ready to protect.
"Quiet now," Alexander whispers, his voice smooth as silk despite the adrenaline of the situation. "We need to get a clear read on those security patrols before we make our move. Stay close to me."
He places a reassuring hand on your shoulder, a gesture that feels warm and supportive. But as your eyes shift back to the compound below, searching for a gap in the laser grid, the hand on your shoulder tightens.
In one fluid, horrifying motion, the supportive teammate vanishes. Alexander's grip shifts from comfort to force. With a sudden, violent shove, he drives his palms into your chest. The shock of the betrayal sends your breath rushing out of your lungs as you lose your footing on the slick rooftop.
"Oops," Alexander murmurs, his voice dripping with a false, mocking concern that never reaches his cold eyes. "Looks like you lost your balance."
Gravity claims you instantly. The wind screams past your ears as you plummet toward the jagged rocks and churning Atlantic waters below. For a split second, you see him silhouetted against the moon standing at the edge of the building, looking down at your fall with a faint, arrogant smirk before he turns away as if nothing happened.

The sterile, white surfaces of the Naidisbo Tower kitchen gleam under the bright overhead lights as you sit at the sleek island, spooning up Alexander's yogurt. The taste is good, but the company is even better. Wally West is sprawled out in the chair across from you, vibrating with his usual restless energy, one leg bouncing at a speed that would make a normal human dizzy.
"I'm telling you, dude, it's not even normal," Wally says, leaning in conspiratorially while he snatches a grape from a bowl on the counter. "I've met some uptight people in my time trust me, I've run through some pretty serious corporate boardrooms but Moonwater? That guy is the human equivalent of a fucking ruler."
He snorts, shaking his head as he gestures vaguely toward the hallway where Alexander had disappeared earlier.
"He walks around like he's constantly expecting someone to trip over his perfect little shoes. And that smile? Christ, it's so rehearsed I bet he practices it in the mirror before he even gets out of bed." Wally takes another bite of food, grinning mischievously. "I mean, he's cool and all, real 'mysterious alien' vibes, but seriously? The guy needs to fuck off and relax. A little less 'brooding hero' and a little more 'actually having a conversation' would go a long way."

The kitchen of Naidisbo Tower was sterile, all gleaming white surfaces and the hum of high end appliances. It was supposed to be a safe space a place to refuel after a long day of orientation but the atmosphere felt off.
Alexander, known to the team as Moonwater, sat at the breakfast bar with a casual, almost charming smile on his face. His blue skin caught the overhead fluorescent lights as he leaned over a plate of food prepared for you. To anyone else passing through, he looked like a helpful teammate, perhaps just rearranging a garnish. But from your vantage point nearby, the truth was unmistakable. With a practiced, fluid motion that suggested this wasn't his first time, he uncapped a small vial and tipped a colorless liquid onto your meal, watching with cold, calculating eyes as it dissolved into the food.
He didn't notice you watching. He simply picked up his own fork, his expression shifting instantly back to that of the kind, slightly arrogant alien recruit.
"Hey, you okay?" Wally West asked as he zipped into the kitchen in a blur of yellow and red, stopping abruptly by the counter to grab an apple. He glanced between you and Alexander, his hyperactive energy momentarily faltering as he sensed your confusion. "You're staring at your food like it's gonna grow legs and bite you."
Alexander turned his head, offering you a warm, disarming smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Is something wrong?" he asked, his voice smooth and dripping with feigned concern. "You look a little pale. Are you feeling alright?"

The salt air whips around the deck of the transport vessel as it cuts through the choppy waters toward the coordinates. Naidisbo Tower looms in the distance like a black monolith, but today, the focus is on the mission ahead: a suspected Project Cadmus facility hidden somewhere along this coastline.
The Young Justice team is already in mission mode. Dick Grayson stands at the helm, his eyes scanning the tactical readouts with focused intensity, while M'gann floats nearby, her expression soft but her posture alert. Wally is a blur of motion, checking equipment at superhuman speeds, unable to sit still for more than five seconds.
"Stay sharp, everyone," Dick commands, his voice cutting through the wind. "Cadmus doesn't leave breadcrumbs unless they want to be found. We go in fast, we gather intel, and we get out before they can seal the site."
"Whatever happens, I've got your six, Nightwing," Artemis says, checking the tension on her bowstring with a practiced smirk.
Alexander stands a few paces away from you, looking every bit the heroic new recruit. His blue skin gleams under the overcast sky, and he maintains a composed, almost serene expression. To anyone watching, he looks like the perfect teammate calm, capable, and ready to serve.
However, as the team turns to discuss the landing zone, Alexander subtly shifts his position. He pulls out a sleek, alien device that looks like a modified communication gauntlet his 'arm phone.' His fingers dance across the glowing interface with practiced stealth. He keeps his head tilted down, pretending to study the mission briefing on his own HUD, but his lips move in a rapid, hushed whisper.
"Target approach imminent. New assets secured. Initiating phase one," he mutters in the guttural, melodic tongue of Korath. His eyes flick toward you for a split second not with kindness, but with a cold, calculating hunger that vanishes as quickly as it appeared. "The interference is present. Proceed with caution."
He tucks the device away just as Wally zips past, nearly knocking Alexander off balance.
"Whoa, sorry Moonwater dude!" Wally grins, flashing a thumbs up before skidding to a halt next to you. "You ready for this? I heard Cadmus has some nasty new experiments running down there. Might be fun, might be terrifying. Probably both!"
Alexander recovers his footing smoothly, offering you a reassuring smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. "Don't worry, Wally. With all of us here, there's nothing we can't handle."

The sun beats down on the pristine sands of Titans Island, casting a golden glow over the beach where the Young Justice and Titans teams have gathered to unwind. The salt air carries the sound of crashing waves and distant laughter.
On the sand, a volleyball game is in full swing. Alexander presenting himself as the easygoing Moonwater dips his head to wipe sweat from his forehead, maintaining a practiced, charming smile. Inside, however, his blood burns with irritation. The endless sun and the forced camaraderie feel like a cage, preventing him from making any meaningful progress with his Cadmus contacts. Every moment spent playing this childish game is a moment wasted.
"Nice serve, Moonwater! Try not to let it hit you in the face next time!" Artemis calls out with a competitive smirk. She leaps into the air, her reflexes sharp as she spikes the ball across the net with precision. She seems relaxed, though her eyes never truly stop scanning the perimeter a habit she can never quite shake.
A half mile out at sea, the water explodes in white foam as Wally West streaks across the surface. His feet move so fast they barely register contact with the waves, leaving a trail of displaced water behind him. "Come on, Kaldur! You're getting slow!" Wally shouts over the wind, his voice full of manic energy as he circles the Atlantean.
Kaldur'ahm moves through the water with fluid grace, rising from a wave to meet Wally's challenge. "Speed is not everything, Wally. Discipline wins fights." The two engage in a lighthearted sparring match, using the ocean as their arena while the sun glints off the water.
Back on the shore, the atmosphere is more subdued. Nightwing sits on a beach towel, leaning back on his elbows as he talks with Starfire. The two of them share a quiet moment of connection away from the chaos of the group. Starfire's orange skin glows brilliantly in the sunlight as she laughs at something Dick says, her eyes bright with genuine contentment.
For everyone else, it is a perfect day of respite. For Alexander, it is a performance he can't wait to end.

The salt air whips against the obsidian walls of Naidisbo Tower as the remaining team members gather their gear. The atmosphere is thick with tension and a desperate sense of urgency; the loss of Superboy, Starfire, Raven, M'gann, and Wally has left a gaping hole in their defenses.
Alexander known to the team as Moonwater stands near the entrance of the Port, adjusting his gloves. His blue skin gleams under the artificial lighting, and he wears a mask of concerned heroism, though his eyes remain cold and calculating. "This is fucking insane," Alexander mutters, forcing a tremor into his voice to sound rattled. "How did they just snatch five of us without anyone noticing? We have to move fast before they do something permanent to them."
Garfield shifts nervously beside him, his green skin pale. "I can't believe it. One minute we're all hanging out in the common room, and the next... fuck, I'm gonna kill whoever did this."
Artemis checks the tension on her bowstring, her jaw set in a hard line. She doesn't share Gar's panic; she has the focused anger of someone who has been hunting villains her entire life. "Save the speeches for later, Gar. We need a plan, not a tantrum. If Cadmus has them, they're already experimenting. We don't have time to sit around feeling sorry for ourselves."
Alexander glances toward you, offering a reassuring, almost too perfect smile. "Don't worry, we'll get them back. Together, right? We're a team." His mind, however, is elsewhere already calculating how this mission might provide the perfect opportunity to eliminate the new recruit without raising suspicion.
"Let's move," Artemis commands, already heading toward the transport vehicles. "We're going straight to the last known coordinates of the Cadmus extraction team."
