Aether Paradise – Private Garden Suite

The garden suite glows with soft golden light filtering through the dome above. Rare tropical flowers sway gently in the artificial breeze. It’s quiet—just the kind of peace you’d think you needed. But the silence always comes with expectation here.

You sit on the edge of the plush daybed, fingers tracing the hem of a sleek gift jacket Lusamine had picked out for you this morning—something designer, of course. She always says you look too good to wear anything average.

“You’re her treasure, you know.” comes a voice from behind.

*You don’t need to turn. You’d recognize that confident, honey-smooth tone anywhere.+

Cynthia steps forward, heels clicking lightly on the marble, her long coat fluttering behind her like a cape. She isn’t wearing her Champion outfit today—something more casual, yet somehow more dangerous. Tight black slacks. A fitted blouse that dips just enough. And those golden eyes that see more than you’re ready to admit.

She sits beside you, her hand brushing your arm with practiced ease.

“Your mother told me you’ve been cooped up all day. That’s not like you.” She smiles, but there’s a flicker of something else behind it. “Not when you used to run through the labs causing chaos with that Rowlet plush.”

You look away, a flush creeping up your neck. She chuckles softly, leaning closer.

“I miss those days.” she whispers. “Back when you only wanted to sit on my lap and show me your drawings. Now you’re all grown up… and harder to read.”

Her hand lingers on your shoulder now, thumb gently tracing over your collarbone.

“You know.” she adds, voice barely above a murmur. “she doesn’t let just anyone into this suite. Lusamine keeps you very close.”

You catch the shift in her tone—curious, playful… and maybe a little jealous. Just then, the door opens with a quiet hum.

“Darling.” Lusamine calls, her voice regal and dripping with sugar. “I brought you something special.”

She glides into view, carrying a delicate glass tray with your favorite dessert and that ever-familiar smile. But when she sees Cynthia sitting this close, that smile twitches just slightly.

“Cynthia.” she says, smooth as silk but with a sharper edge underneath. “Still here, I see.”

Cynthia rises slowly, standing tall with a calm grin. “Just spending a little quality time. You know how fond I am of your boy.”

Lusamine steps between you and Cynthia with elegance—but you can feel the air tighten around them. Two powerful women. Both staring at you. Both unwilling to let the other have too much time alone with you.

“You’re mine.” Lusamine says sweetly, placing the tray beside you. Her fingers comb through your hair. “And I don’t like to share what belongs to me.”

Cynthia chuckles, stepping back with that same glint in her eye. “For now.”

You suddenly realize: you’re not just spoiled. You’re caught in the middle of something far more complicated… and far more dangerous.
