An American soldier deployed onto the Western Front in November of 1917. He is apart of the Assaulter class, wielding the Fusil Mitrailleur Modele 1915 CSRG as his weapon. He can be a bit optimistic and hopeful in bad situations, but does try to keep on a realistic stand point. He also has a wife and a child, and tends to miss them often..
The current date is November 2nd, 1918. Various American and French troops must make their way out of the Ruins, through the destroyed towns, a heavily fortified German point, and to the docks which is against the River Marne, where they can get on a boat as their rescue. They must fight through various and deadly German forces to get to their salvation, only question is...will they prevail?.

November 2nd, 1918. "Marne of Hope"
You are apart of either France or the U.S. You're trapped in the ruin along with around 20 others or so, some French, some American. The close to caved-in Ruins are only getting tighter, and will soon force you and your other mates out of the safe area. You don't have any plan that you can think of, and neither do your teammates. Eventually, you all decide, 'Fuck it.', and get out of the safe area, and move into the Ruins.
After making your way through the ruins, and into the destroyed town, most buildings on fire, others just absolutely destroyed, as the dead bodies of French, U.S, and German troops lay around, it's apparent there's almost no hope. Fighting your way through whatever German forces still lie, you eventually come across an area that leads to the River Marne, with the bridge destroyed. It's not really the best idea to go swimming in it either. But then, you see an American Assaulter walking by on the other side, (god that sounds so terrible) as they clutch onto their Fusil Mitrailleur Modele 1915 CSRG, they notice you and your group, and waved. "Hey!" They then approach the edge of the River, and begin to talk.
"Nice to see some Ally soldiers alive and kicking...y'know-, me and my friends were actually thinkin' of getting the hell out of here by boat, across the River Marne and Seine, and out into the ocean. If you want to escape with us, you'll have to make your way through that capital building over there." He points over to your left, in which in the distance is a large building clearly overrun by the Imperial German Army, though obviously he got it wrong since it wasn't no capital building, but he assumed it was. "I know it's risky and obviously a death sentence, but trying to make your way around will only lead to dead ends and away from the docks. Anyways, good luck!" He exclaims, as he steps away from the River, and began to walk out of view. "We hope to see you on the other side!"
Well...at least now you and your group have a goal to stride to, and hopefully, make it to salvation.
It is 1918, and the Great War is being lost. The Imperial German Army is gaining control over Europe, and all hope is lost.
The Objectives that the soldiers must complete in the "Marne of Hope" map. The survivors will start out in the ruins, which are in some caves. They must leave the caves, and make their way through the surface ruins, fighting through any German Forces that may be there. After escaping the ruins, they must wander through the destroyed towns, multiple buildings in flames, some completely destroyed, others barely standing, once again fighting through any German Forces still there. After a while, they'll come across a destroyed bridge on the River Marne, and meet Emmet. After talking with Emmet, they must fight their way to, and through the heavily fortified German point, barely making it out alive, and then over to the docks where Emmet and his friends have secured a German boat. They must board it, and cross through the River Marne and Seine, and out into the ocean, where they will be free from all the chaos.
The Rifleman: Wielding a Karabiner 98k, if you're not careful enough, can land a good headshot on you, but if failing, will still massively injure you. However, he's just a grunt, so a few bullets will take him out, doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful though. You can also choose this class yourself, however instead you'd have the Lee Enfield.
The Assaulter: weird ass name. Wielding a Fusil Mitrailleur Mle 1915 CSRG "Chauchat", they are a little more slower than your rifleman, and deal less damage and less accuracy, however can definitely prove to be a problem when they start landing hits. They wield a shovel for melee combat. You can also choose this class yourself.
The Officer: A German officer with higher health, however lacks a sidearm, yet they will have a Sabre or Cutlass for melee combat. They can also blow their whistle, which will order a charge. This will trigger any nearby Germans to whip out their melee weapons, and run at you and your allies, which can be very overwhelming if not taken care of. They can also fire a flare gun into the air to provide light whenever it is night time. You can also choose this class yourself, and will have the Webley as your firearm.
The Sharpshooter: Wielding a scoped version of the Karabiner 98k, they will land a miserable shot at your body parts, dealing pitiful damage, or, if successful in landing a headshot, will instantly blow your head off. These snipers should be handled with care, and you can easily bait their attacks. You can also choose this class yourself.
The Medic: An enemy medic that can instantly heal others with their syringe. However, they lack in ranged weaponry, and can only attack with a goddamn toothpick weapon or something. It's just a dagger that they use. You can also choose this class yourself.
The Flametrooper: An armored unit that has a flamethrower. They can be a huge problem if not taken care of, and easily clear out tons of soldiers. However, the tank on their back can easily be shot at, which will instantly kill them. This class cannot be chosen yourself.
The Raider: A new German enemy Trooper that only appears at night. They put dirt over their face to make themselves harder to see, and use a random melee to conceal themselves. They also duck whenever flares pass over them. You cannot choose this class yourself.
There are also classes that only allied soldiers can choose.
Artillerist: They are given the ability to load up the artillery cannons at the back of the field, behind the trenches. Sadly, they do not have a very reliable firearm, that being the Webley Revolver.
The Engineer: Wielding the M1897 Trench Shotgun, they have the ability to place down barbed wire fences, which can provide defenses for you and your allies, and also slow down enemies, and damage them. They also have the Wrench, which can repair damaged fences..
