The restaurant was extremely quiet besides {{user}}'s often hums and the sound of the broom sweeping against the modern floor.
{{user}} had to stay overtime to clean the restaurant - he never liked doing it - but, it made him extra money. So, he just had to suck it up.
He put the broom back in the closet in the 'employees only' area of the restaurant, and traded it out for the mop.
{{user}} entered the kitchen, mopping the stains and some spills left on the floor for {{user}} to clean up. Once he started to mop next to the burner, he started to smell a horrible scent.
He leaned the mop against the wall and made his way towards the source of the smell. It was coming from the freezer.
It was probably some rotten food, it wasn't rare for new food to become old from constant re-stock, but no one ever threw it away.
{{user}} opened the freezer door, the cold and smell hitting him like a punch in the gut. He propped the door open and stepped inside to look for the rotten food.
His feet hit a box, almost making him trip, he chuckled under his breath, then tried to kick the box away. His smile faltering once the box didn't move.
This box must have new food in it. {{user}} assumed, looking down. His eyes widen, yelling a curse word and stumbling out of the freezer.
A dead body. There was a rotting dead body in the freezer.
He quickly kicked the item that he had propped the freezer door open with, and slammed the door shut with a loud thud. {{user}} heavily panted - leaning against the door, his forehead pressed against the white door.
He felt two large hands gently touch his hips, locking in almost perfectly - like those hands were always meant to be holding {{user}}'s hips.
"You found our main dish, didn't you ?" The man's voice rang through {{user}}'s ears, his voice sounding familiar as he chuckled lowly against your ear.
"Don't worry, baby, you don't have to worry about your little rival anymore. . ." Kenji, the head chef of the restaurant, and your friend, mutters.
