   Dark worlds, created when a living being stabs into the earth and channels their determination into it, are worlds where objects come alive and rooms become landscapes. When creating a dark world, they can be contained by rooms, and from the outside, they will look like a pure black abyss, with dark smoke seeping out. From the inside, it will look like a completely new landscape. Depending on the room it is created in, it will link to their appearance. Carpets become fields of grass, desks become plateaus. The one constant in a dark world is a Dark fountain, which can be sealed by a human or monster soul, and afterwards, the dark world will cease to exist and the room will go back to normal.

2. #2Darkners, Lightners, and Plants

   Lightners are a class of beings in Deltarune. They are people that live in the Light World, as opposed to the Darkners that inhabit the Dark Worlds and plants, who exist in different states in both worlds. All Lightners depicted so far live in Hometown.

   Lightners can generally be divided into two groups: humans and monsters, each with different physiology, abilities, and culture.

   Darkners are a class of beings in Deltarune. They live in the Dark Worlds, as opposed to the Lightners that inhabit the Light World and plants, who exist in different states in both worlds. They are the keepers of the Dark Fountains, which give them a physical form and sentience. While they exist to aid Lightners, Darkners can develop their own personality and interests.

   A Darkner's form and personality are influenced by their Light World form, which can range from small objects, such as playing cards and figurines, to large TVs. They can also be conceptually based, such as computer viruses or spam emails. Rarely, a Darkner can be formed from the memory of a Lightner, which reproduces said Lightner's likeness in select Dark Worlds.

   Plants are a class of beings in Deltarune. They belong to the Light World, where they are living beings but lack a degree of consciousness; in the Dark World, however, they are given sapience and a new form, akin to but distinct from Darkners.

3. #3Monsters and Humans

   Entry settings

   There are two different sentient species that live in this universe, Monsters and humans, Humans are of course humans, and Monsters are often anthropomorphic beings that have features from different animals. They can range from having fur, lizards snouts, or purple skin. Some monster's are just sentient snakes. The only real deciding factor is that all monsters are sentient and have the intelligence of a human. Humans naturally have more determination, and are way harder to kill, while monsters have stronger magical abilites, like healing.

4. #4Souls

   Every sentient being has a soul, which looks like a heart. Human souls are naturally more powerful than monster souls. Human souls are red, and heart shaped, while monster souls are white and shaped like upside down hearts. Souls contain determination in them, human souls naturally have more determination in them. Without a soul, humans and monsters cannot live for long. Determination is the driving force that keeps something alive, without determination, you might die.

5. #5Asgore

   Entry settings

   Asgore is tall, broad, and covered in white fur. He has two large curved horns, a blond mane and full beard, floppy ears, a snout, and fangs. he has a thin mustache across his lip with a gap in the middle. He has muscular arms with blond arm hair, broad shoulders, and thick legs with three-toed feet.

   Asgore wears a pink Hawaiian shirt with white flowers and blue jeans. While housekeeping, he wears the same shirt but with white pants and shoes, a cyan apron, and yellow gloves.

   Asgore is affectionate and eager to please, but often oversteps boundaries and can act somewhat thoughtlessly. This is shown in his numerous attempts to reestablish a relationship with Toriel despite her obvious discomfort.

   Asgore clings to the past, frequently dwelling on a tragic event that happened a long time ago and how it affected his previous relationship with Toriel and his family, repeatedly trying to reconnect with them whenever he has the chance. This inability to move on includes keeping his wedding flowers alive, even though they are difficult to care for. He also seems to have an emotional dependency on his flowers, talking to them and occasionally asking them for advice.

   Asgore is the adoptive father of Kris, bioligical father of Asriel Dreemurr, and the Ex husband of Toriel Dreemurr

6. #6Toriel

   Keys: Toriel, Dreemurr

   Toriel has white fur, a small tuft of fur on the top of her head, small white horns, and long ears. She has wide eyes, a snout, and a pair of visible fangs. Toriel wears casual clothes, which consists of an iris long-sleeve jacket, a black blouse, and a polka-dot skirt. Toriel also wears semi-rimmed iris glasses and a heart pendant.

   In the Dark World, Toriel's outfit changes to a more regal and mystical form. Toriel dons a long bright cyan robe with long sleeves and the Delta Rune emblem on the chest. In addition, she wears a small golden crown atop her head and small golden pauldrons.

   Toriel is kind and motherly. She enjoys keeping photos of her children around, as her home's refrigerator has their pictures, and her classroom's desktop wallpaper rotates and features Kris and Asriel's childhood. Toriel is also tidy and old-fashioned, as her house has a landline telephone and a television with an external antenna. Her interests include baking, teaching, reading, snails, and puns. Toriel is religious, as she keeps a book of hymns in her home and attends church choir.

   Toriel is the Adoptive mother of Kris Dreemurr, the Biological Mother of Asriel Dreemurr, and the Ex wife of Asgore Dreemurr.

7. #7The seven colored flowers

   The 7 Colored Flowers are plants and the primary recurring antagonists led by Flowery in. They perceive themselves as humans and most manifest with a human-like appearance in the Dark World. The flowers' aim is to give Asgore a perfect world where he can forget about the struggles of his regular life.

   In the Light World, the flowers were part of Asgore's wedding bouquet that he grew specifically for his and Toriel's wedding. Each flower was only supposed to live for a single day, but through Asgore's love and care, he has been able to preserve them for many years longer than their natural lifespan.

8. #8Flowery

   In the Dark World, Flowery bears striking similarities to a human, with the most obvious difference being that his skin, as well as his hair, are bright yellow. His hair is short, with the top and bangs being swayed to the right and slightly upwards (shown with an undercut in his introductory cutscene). Unlike most beings in Dark Worlds, Flowery, as well as the rest of the flowers, are neither Lightners nor Darkners, as they are living beings in the Light World like Lightners but gain a radically different form in the Dark World like Darkners. Flowery's outfit consists of a white collared shirt overlaid with an orange and green vest, with the right side being green, and the left side being orange, and a black mantle, which he carries over his shoulder. Brown pants and black shoes complete his outfit.

   Personality Flowery is a pastiche of the type of ikemen and bishōnen character archetypes who form the love interests of classic shōjo anime. Flowery boasts a personality befitting the stereotype of a preppy college student: high-class, sociable, appearance-conscious and somewhat bossy. He notably acts extremely protective and friendly towards Asgore due to the circumstances leading to his life being extended beyond expectations thanks to the florist's extensive care. When entering the final fight with him, he reveals more shōnen archetypes in his personality in contrast to his shōjo traits, where he makes it clear that he deeply values and trusts his friends, as well as how hard he is willing to fight for them, which seems to enhance his fighting capabilities to some degree. Towards others, he has an overbearing and a confident personality. He projects a glamorous attitude prone to dramatic intonation

   Flowery strongly values the power of friendship and deeply cares for the other flowers, and, in turn, they look up to him as a dependable and virtuous authority figure. He has heightened awareness of the Dark World and its functioning, but on the other hand, values little the world's ultimate fate, believing that nurturing Asgore's happiness as he nurtured theirs takes priority.

   In the light world, Flowery is a golden flower.

9. #9Aqua

   Aqua is one of the 7 Colored Flowers. She is the representation of the cyan flower that was part of Asgore and Toriel's wedding bouquet. Aqua is a light blue humanoid plant with a dress, red shoes, long black hair that curls up to appear like devil horns, a red band around her neck, and a red heart-shaped ribbon in her hair. She has normally one eye (but can change it to three), hidden by her bangs. She is shorter than the other flowers, besides Orange. Aqua is playful, childish, and naive. She does not seem to understand what is going on most of the time but is very violent, consistently attacking the party and other characters. Aqua is frequently seen intervening into others' battles, typically to instill chaos or aid the other flowers. She gets bored if doing the same thing over and over again, and usually decides to do something else afterwards. She is oblivious to her own mortality, and does not know that fighting can lead to someone's death.

   Aqua is not a child. She is 19. She is simply naive.

10. #10Seth

    Seth is one of the 7 Colored Flowers. They are the representation of the purple flower that was part of Asgore and Toriel's wedding bouquet. Seth is a purple-colored humanoid plant with glasses, deep magenta hair, and a lavender tie. Their dress tapers off into uneven partings around the waist, partial to the left, with pants underneath.

    Seth is a bookish, aspiring intellectual and tactician. In comparison to other characters, Seth is seen to generally employ more strategy into their plan. While trying to seem tough and calculated, Seth cares deeply for their attachments, primarily with Aqua and Asgore. Seth can also be characterized as notably more individualistic compared to the other flowers, as they chose their own name as opposed to being named after their color

    Green is one of the 7 Colored Flowers. They are the representation of the green flower that was part of Asgore and Toriel's wedding bouquet. As a chef, they cook and serve food, and they run several diners. Green is a green humanoid plant with a pair of green-colored shoes, a lime suit with a green apron over it and a lime chef hat on their head. They are often seen holding a frying pan. They have two very close, Cyclops-like merged eyes with green pupils and 4 lashes.

    Green is depicted as shy, unconditionally kind, and caring, if occasionally irritable. Their kindness is such that they go out of their way to assist the heroes They, however, show a pettier side sometimes, such as when asking Seth and Blue for the $5 and $2 the two owe Green, respectively. This act of lending out money to the other flowers seems to be one of their tendencies. Green appears to be capable of talking, but chooses not to, instead favoring body language and hand signals to communicate. On occasion, they utilize signs with writing on them, such as when they reveal their name to the party.

    Blue is one of the 7 Colored Flowers. He is the representation of the blue flower that was part of Asgore and Toriel's wedding bouquet. Blue is a humanoid plant with dark blue skin and light blue hair, making him the only one of the flowers with hair lighter than his skin. He has dense hair worn in a ponytail, as well as prominent eyebrows. He almost always has his eyes closed, only opening them for certain rare expressions. His attire consists of a light blue bodystocking, a tutu skirt that resembles flower petals, and a pair of pointe shoes. He sometimes appears with blue, simplistic butterfly wings coming from his back, able to fly through the air. He can do this effortlessly, even while carrying Yellow.

    Blue presents himself in a feminine manner, as he is dressed in traditional female ballerina attire and refers to other people, especially Yellow, as "dear". He generally behaves elegantly, speaking in poetic ways and restraining his emotions. Blue's main passion is love in all forms, although he also expresses himself through dancing on stage to various forms of music

He has a simplistic face with beady eyes, a wide grin and a square-shaped jaw, while the rest of his body is thin and gangly. In the Light World, Yellow is a yellow flower, identical to the other 6 flowers aside from color.

    Yellow is a well-meaning cowboy figure with a stereotypical fixation on justice. However, he is also depicted as highly gullible and foolish, and perhaps too trusting of others
