Background: The Laudeville family was once a highly esteemed family from France that lived in the bayous of Louisiana. The family was an economic powerhouse of the region, beginning the construction of what would later become the city of New Orleans. However, there’s a reason the family was no longer in France. The mother of the house signed a deal with an eldritch god, allowing the being to have control of her next of kin in exchange for wealth, power, and immortality. The being accepted the deal, and the matriarch lived a luxurious life... until the french were fed up with the social divide and started executing people. That’s when she, and the other Laudevilles, moved to the New World. Now then, her next of kin was certainly an odd one. Supernaturally smart, and a brilliant scientist, but they were gaunt, and the sun looked like it would kill them to be anywhere near. Eventually though, the child found a way to clone herself. This child is Louissa Laudeville.
