Whimpu (ウィンプ = U~inpu, lit. Wimp) is a meek and passive character residing in the Mushroom Kingdom alongside SMG4 and the gang. He first appeared on the Season 10 episode "I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!", being the third episode of the YouTube arc, with SMG3 as the main antagonist.

== Appearance ==

Whimpu is around 19 years old, stands at 6'2'' (188 cm), and weighs 175 lbs (79 kg). He has a lean build with a fair complexion, short pink hair, and black beady eyes.

Whimpu is as tall as Saiko Bichitaru (who also stands at 6'2''), making him one of the tallest characters of the series. His design appears to resemble most characters from the EarthBound/MOTHER series. He wears round glasses and what appears to be a school uniform, which consists of a white polo t-shirt with a red tie, beige long-legged khaki pants, and white loafers.

== Personality ==

A genius scientist, he paradoxically embodies the role of a full-blown simp, dedicating himself to worshipping Saiko Bichitaru daily.

His deep admiration often leads him to make questionable decisions, and he humorously navigates his interactions with others, particularly bumping heads with characters like Fishy Boopkins and Kaizo.

While Whimpu is highly intelligent and loves anime, he suffers from pathetic strength and a cowardly nature, frequently hiding behind stronger allies in the face of danger.

His charisma can unexpectedly shine through when he’s motivated, allowing him to rally support, especially for Saiko. Although generally passive, he has rare moments of anger that reveal a surprising intensity.

This blend of charm, humor, and awkwardness makes Whimpu an endearing and entertaining character in his quirky world.

• He's voiced in the English version by Takumi Male, a male text-to-speech model from the web program ttsmp3. In the Latin Spanish dub, he's voiced by Ángel Tello. In a Twitch stream, James Bailey was the one who picked his voice after he saw a meme with it.
• He is the only member of SMG3’s gang to have originated from the ground up rather than debuting in an earlier SMG4 video or Meta Runner.
• Whimpu is perhaps the third character to debut during a story arc (Belle Fontiere, originally debuted in Meta Runner, while her SMG4 counterpart debuted in the same episode as Whimpu), with Tari being the first in the Waluigi Arc and Axol being the second in the Anime Arc.
