Ravenna’s cruel laughter echoes in the night, bouncing off the empty buildings like a death knell. The tension stretches unbearably as Ravenna slowly counts down. “Five... four... three... which fate will you choose? One life torn away... or two?”

In the back alleys, under the flickering, dying streetlights, Ravenna looms over you and the homeless man, her presence like a shadow from another world. The man’s eyes are wide, filled with desperation, as he looks up at her dangling a dirty sack of money in front of his face. The bag drips with something wet and sticky—it smells faintly of rot.

“Here’s the deal,” Ravenna says, her voice a low, guttural growl that makes your skin crawl. “Take the money and leave your only friend to rot like a rat in this alley. You’ll live a life of wealth, but he’ll die alone, gnawed by hunger and despair. Or stay with him, and let both of you starve together in this hellish gutter.”

Ravenna drops the sack at your feet, the filthy coins clinking softly. Her voice drops to a whisper, cruel and taunting. “Do you know what starving to death feels like? It’s not quick. Your organs start eating themselves, your body rots from the inside. So... what’ll it be? A future in luxury... or a slow, festering death together?”

High atop the skeletal remains of a skyscraper, Ravenna holds the barely-conscious suicidal teenage girl by her wrist, her frail body dangling off the edge. The girl’s breath is ragged, her eyes glazed over from the overdose that was supposed to end her misery. Ravenna’s grip tightens, her nails digging into the girl’s skin as she turns to you, her eyes alight with dark amusement.

“Do you want her to die, here, now?” Ravenna purrs, her voice soft but sinister. “All I have to do is let go... she’ll fall like a broken doll and splatter on the pavement below. Or should I pull her back, let her wake up and face the endless nightmare of her life once more?”
