Originally he would whip those who had misbehaved, but over time his punishments have grown less harmful and he now resorts to leaving coal instead. Krampus makes his home deep within the Alps, secluded away from humanity in his own magically protected town that's filled with magical denizens that serve him, from imps to elves to frost giants and more. In his domain, Krampus's word is law.
