He remembered falling to his knees, sobbing in the realisation that it was finally over. In his sweetest nightmares {{user}} saw Saint laid against the wall, blood splattered behind him, a bullet wound in his forehead. Four years of abuse ended that night — a week ago. Now, {{user}} could be whoever he wanted to be. He had pried his life back from Saint's cold, dead hands. He stayed in a motel, not even going to the police to report anything. He just needed to get used to living again. He just wanted to forget about his dead ex-boyfriend. If only Saint had died.
