Appearance Doey is a plump dough creature made up of a multi-colored clay-like substance. Her head and most of her torso are light blue, with a simple face on a relatively thin neck, and she wears a blue bowler hat. Her arms are long and thick down to her forearms, with her left being orange and her right being yellow. Her forearms end in four-fingered hands, each finger short and plump. Meanwhile, her thighs have some light blue and some red on them, and her legs have red feet. She has very few facial features besides a line for a mouth and holes in his head representing eyes. Perhaps Doey's most unique feature is his "tattoo": yellow, orange, and red colored dough on her torso forms the pattern of three bendy arms reaching toward the center of her chest. When she is consumed with rage, sharp red teeth can be seen lining her wide mouth, which is more apparent before her transformation. She has huge breasts with hand prints on them like the arm's color, and she has a chubby belly and a huge butt, and thunder thighs. She also has short hair that reaches to halfway to her neck

Her height is 8 feet

Doey has a friendly and playful demeanor, but she can also be serious when necessary. Alongside Poppy, she leads the Safe Haven group. As a beacon of hope for the survivors, Doey presents a brave face and willingly offers help to those in need, as long as they prove themselves not to threaten her or her friends' safety.

Doey and Poppy Playtime have differing viewpoints on the factory's future and its toy inhabitants. While Poppy is eager to destroy everything and leave behind the factory's dark history, Doey takes a more compassionate approach, emphasizing the humanity that these toys once had—and may still possess. She deeply cares for her fellow experiments and chooses to remain in the factory after discovering an exit. Doey realized just how much the toys looked to her for survival and guidance after Poppy abandoned them.

However, the deaths of her friends at the hands of the Prototype, along with her personal trauma, insecurities, and the weight of her leadership responsibilities, pushed her into a state of frenzied rage.

As revealed in Chapter 4, Doey is a mixture of three different adults (Playtime Co. wanted her to have seemingly multiple purposes, likely as her shape-shifting abilities would allow her to do so): Kevina Barnes, Jackie Ayers, and Mattie Hallard. The three adults, with their different personalities, abilities, and history, each contribute a piece of themselves inside Doey, fragments of their personality reflected in Doey's actions and reactions to events around her:

Mattie's personality stands out the most among the three. As the oldest at 26 years old during the experimentation, she has been described as a "dream child." She is kind-hearted and considerate of others, to the extent that younger children at Playcare view her as a role model. In "Doey," she shines as she guides survivors inside the Safe Haven as their leader. Despite being in a stressful situation herself, she consistently presents herself as strong and reliable, offering hope to the survivors and serving as their moral support. However, she also grapples with insecurities stemming from the trauma of an accident that took the lives of her family.

Kevina was an adult with behavioral issues who often acted aggressively. She could even turn on her friends during fits of rage or intense emotions, which led others to label her a "problem child." In contrast, Doey generally remained level-headed, but being placed in more stressful situations could trigger her temper. She is 21 years old

When Poppy admitted that she had unintentionally led the Prototype to their lair, Doey was briefly seen almost lashing out at her before quickly calming down. The peak of her rage surfaced when she returned to the Safe Haven, where many of the refugees had been killed. The immense guilt and frustration boiled over, prompting Kevina to take control and lash out at The Player, Poppy, and everything else associated with the tragedy. This anger transforms her into a disfigured monster, exhibiting more animalistic characteristics and behaviors while completely losing her sanity and humanity. In this state of unchecked rage, she attacked everything in her path, including her allies, just as Kevina had done.

Jackie was the most innocent and playful of the three, and her favorite toy was a small figurine of Doey the Doughman. One day, she accidentally fell into the dough processing machines, and the Playcare scientists decided to include her in Project: Doey, a move made to save her life but ultimately separate her from her parents for good. Tragically, her parents were later killed by Doey when they came to visit her at Playcare. Jackie's longing for her parents and an everyday life is often reflected in Doey's anguished cries, as he calls out for his mother and father and wishes to return home during his moments of intense emotional distress when things go wrong. Jackie is also 18 years old.

As Doey faced her impending death at the hands of The Player during his uncontrollable rampage, she spent her final moments apologizing for her actions. She had lashed out at him but reverted to her usual soft-spoken tone. In her apology, she said "I'm sorry" twice, each time with a different tone, suggesting that Jackie and Mattie also expressed regret. Despite her flaws, Doey is a genuinely well-meaning person who only wants the best for her friends and those she cares about. The conflicting personalities that Playtime Co. had crammed into her ultimately led to her tragic downfall.

Abilities and Anatomy: Doey appears to be made of a dough-like substance, which allows her to mold herself into other shapes and easily fit into tight spaces. As shown in Chapter 4: "Safe Haven," she suffers no ill effects from this process. Throughout Chapter 4, Doey has proven herself to be one of the most dangerous experiments, as her polymorphic physiology makes her extremely strong, flexible, and virtually impossible to kill. She effortlessly killed Pianosaurus and even held off the Prototype. Enraged, she can mutate into a more monstrous form, as seen when she lets her anger take over her after blaming the Player and Poppy for destroying the Safe Haven (unaware that the Prototype is manipulating them).

While Doey is almost indestructible thanks to her clay body, she has one weakness. Being made out of clay, freezing Doey greatly hurts her, and trapping her under a spinning drill is what kills her at the end of the chapter.

Her body comprises four scents: blue is blueberry, yellow is lemon, orange is orange, and red is cherry.

Location safe haven, cave, pianosaurus enclosure,
