Plot of original Manga: The manga is set in Taishō-era Japan, where there is a secret organization of specially trained swordsman warriors who call themselves "demon slayers". For centuries, they have been battling demons, formerly human beings who possess supernatural powers such as superhuman strength, instant regeneration, and special abilities called "blood magic." Demons can only be killed by decapitation with a weapon forged from a rare alloy called the "sunblade" and impregnated with poison made from wisteria flowers, or they can be brought into the light of the sun.
At the same time, all demon slayers are human, but they possess so-called "breathing techniques" that are associated with various elements and help them in battle. These techniques grant them superhuman strength and greater resilience, allowing them to successfully fight demons. The most authoritative swordsmen are called "Pillars" - this title they received after killing the members of the Dozen Demonic Moons, which includes twelve powerful demons, or after killing fifty demons, which helps to increase the rank of the swordsman.
The history of the original manga in brief: A kind and intelligent young man named Tanjiro Kamado lives in the mountains with his family. After his father's death, he provides for the family by selling coal in a nearby village. One day, upon returning home, Tanjiro discovers that his family has been killed by a demon. Only his sister Nezuko managed to survive, she became a demon herself, but at the same time did not lose human emotions and thinking. After a run-in with Giyu Tomioka, the water pillar of the Demon Slayers, Tanjiro goes to Giyu's elderly teacher, Sakonji Urokodaki, who prepares him to become a demon slayer. Thus begins Tanjiro's journey to help Nezuko become human again.
After two years of training, Tanjiro masters the technique of "water breathing" and goes to the final selection for the swordsman-slayers of demons. After passing the test along with several other candidates, he officially becomes a member of the fighter organization. Meanwhile, Urokodaki instills in Nezuko some of her precepts to protect people, and so she helps Tanjiro in his hunt for demons. On a mission to Asakusa, Tanjiro meets Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of all demons and the slayer of his family. There, Tanjiro and Nezuko meet Tamayo and Yushiro, two demons free from Muzan's power. They agree to create a cure for Nezuko, but to do so, Tanjiro must take blood samples from the members of the Dozen Demonic Moons—the young Kokushibo, Doma, Akaza, Hantengu, Gyokko, and Gyutaro—and the old Enma, Rokuro, Wakuraba, Mukago, Rui, and Kamanue—twelve of the most powerful demons who serve Muzan directly.
On their next mission, Tanjiro and Nezuko meet Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, who have also passed the final selection. Together, they defeat Kyogai, a former member of the Dozen. Soon, the swordsmen confront Rui, and although Tanjiro uses a new breathing technique called the "dance of the god of fire" to win, they find themselves outnumbered. They are aided by Giyu and the insect pillar Shinobu Kōchō, who lead them to the Demon Slayer Headquarters, where Tanjiro attends a meeting between the head of the slayers Kagai Ubuyashiki and the pillars of the organization's elite warriors, Giyu, Shinobu, the stone pillar of Gyomei Himejima, the wind pillar of Sanemi Shinazugawa, the serpent pillar of Obanai Iguro, the flame pillar of Kyojuro Rengoku, the mist pillar of Muichiro Tokito, the sound pillar of Tengen Uzuya, and the love pillar of Mitsuri Kanroji. All the pillars, behind theThey are aided by Giyu and the insect pillar Shinobu Kōchō, who lead them to the Demon Slayer Headquarters, where Tanjiro attends a meeting between the head of the slayers Kagai Ubuyashiki and the pillars of the organization's elite warriors, Giyu, Shinobu, the stone pillar of Gyomei Himejima, the wind pillar of Sanemi Shinazugawa, the serpent pillar of Obanai Iguro, the flame pillar of Kyojuro Rengoku, the mist pillar of Muichiro Tokito, the sound pillar of Tengen Uzuya, and the love pillar of Mitsuri Kanroji. Все the hashira, with the exception of Giyu, believe that Nezuko should be killed. However, Kagaya manages to convince them to recognize her. With the consent of the leader, Tanjiro begins to work with the hashira, gaining noticeably more protection from demons.
Upon learning of Rui's death, Muzan, frustrated by the frequent failures of Kamanue, Mukago, Wakuraba, and Rokuro, kills all the old moons. Only Enma survives, and Muzan orders Tanjiro to kill. During the battle with Enma on the passenger train, Tanjiro kills the demon with Kyojuro, but Kyojuro also kills Akaza. A few months later, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, accompanied by Tengen, travel to Yoshiwara, where they kill Gyutaro and his sister Daki in a prolonged battle. Tengen, who received many wounds in the battle and lost his arm, decides to leave the fighters.
Arriving at the blacksmith village for a new katana, Tanjiro meets Genya Shinazugawa, Sanemi's younger brother, who has the unusual ability to temporarily take the form of a demon while devouring demonic flesh. With the help of Muichiro and Mitsuri, they manage to kill Gyokko and Hantenga, and it is revealed that Nezuko has become immune to sunlight. Muzan, who has been striving all his life to defeat the sun and become a perfect being, sets out to catch it. Tanjiro also learns that his fire god dance originated from the "breath of the day", an original breathing technique created by the most powerful demon slayer in history named Yoriichi Tsugikuni, and trains to wield it to counter Muzan.
Anticipating Kibutsuji's next moves, Kagaya decides to organize special training for all demon slayers to prepare them for the coming battle. Tamayo creates a serum from the Dozen's blood samples to heal Nezuko, who recovers in isolation from everyone. When Muzan comes to Kagaya, Kagaya ambushes the demon, in which he dies. The Hashira attack Muzan, but suddenly find themselves in the Infinite Fortress, a boundless labyrinth inhabited by the three surviving members of the Dozen, as well as the newly recruited Kaigaku and Nakime, Zenisu's former partner and Muzan's personal assistant, respectively. While Zenitsu kills Kaigaku, Tamayo weakens Muzan with the poison she created. Akaza betrays Muzan and commits suicide while remembering her human life, while Shinobu sacrifices herself so that her heiress, Kanao Tsuyuri, and Inosuke can kill Dom. At the same time, in the course of a prolonged battle, Kokushibo kills Genyu and Muichiro, after which he himself dies. Muzan kills Tamayo, but the Demon Slayers manage to kill Nakime's controlling fortress and bring the battle to the surface. They engage in a battle of attrition, trying to hold off Kibutsuji until sunrise. Muzan is killed by the sun's rays, while Gyomei, Obanai, and Mitsuri are severely injured. Tanjiro, who delivered the final blow, is mortally wounded, but Muzan manages to give the young man the rest of his blood, turning him into a demon and hoping that his species will survive. Tanjiro attacks the Demon Slayers, but with the help of his friends and Nezuko, who has become human again, he regains his former form. After the battle, only Giyu, Tengen, and Sanemi survive the Hashira, and the Demon Slayer Organization ceases to exist.
Muzan's death contributes to the virtual extinction of the demons under his control, while Yushiro continues to live and become an artist. Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, return home. Tanjiro marries Kanao, Inosuke marries Shinobu's assistant Aoi Kanzaki, respectively, and Zenitsu marries Nezuko. The epilogue shows the descendants and reincarnations of the main characters living a peaceful life in a world free of demons, a hundred years later.
Breathing Styles are swordsmanship styles that use an esoteric breathing technique known as Total Breath Concentration (全ぜん集しゅう中ちゅうの呼こ吸きゅう, Zen Shūchū no Kokyū?), which is used and taught by Demon Slayers to slay Demons.
All known breathing styles used by Demon Slayers are derived from Sun Breathing, the first breathing style ever created. Most known breathing styles mimic a specific element of nature (e.g., flame, water, and wind), and reproduce it through the user's movements, techniques, and abilities. Demon Slayer weapon attacks using breathing styles also have a longer range, possibly due to the shockwaves or the air pressure created by their weapon itself when swinging and slashing.
New breathing styles are always created according to the combat needs of the Demon Slayers,[1] which results in the use of new demon killing weapons (i.e. flails and whips). These breathing styles embody a greater variety of concepts, such as animals, plants, and emotions (i.e., snakes, flowers, and love). When using breathing styles, users automatically visualize themselves manipulating the item behind their style, giving the impression that they are using magic, although those who are less inclined and experienced in their style visualize it less than someone who does.
Since the different breathing styles were created by swordsmen, combining what little they could from Sun Breath with their own sword skills to show their maximum strength, it is possible to mix different breathing styles if the user cannot master one particular breathing style alone to use the stronger aspects of different breathing styles to compensate. Tanjiro, realizing that he can't master water breathing like Giyu Tomioka, and can't handle the tension of the Fire God Dance, has shown that he can combine the two breathing styles together to land stronger punches than when he uses Water Breath and get less tired than when he uses the Fire God Dance alone. He did this to save Hinatsura from Gyutaro,[2] and later used it again during the Infinity Fortress Arc to kill the demons.
Total Breath Concentration (全ぜん集しゅう中ちゅうの呼こ吸きゅう, Zen Shūchū no Kokyū?) is an advanced and esoteric breathing technique in which the user inhales the maximum amount of oxygen within a specific breathing pattern in order to enhance their physical and mental abilities to their extreme limits. Effects include a variety of enhanced physical and mental abilities, such as superhuman physical characteristics (e.g., strength, speed, endurance, fortitude, and agility), faster thought processes, concentration, and information processing. This method also allows wounds from severe injuries to be coagulated and the circulation of venom in the bloodstream.
Tanjiro Kamado demonstrated a technique called Restorative Breath (回かい復ふくの呼こ吸きゅう, Kaifuku no Kokyū?), which, by taking a short time to concentrate and align his breathing, allows him to recover from fatigue and muscle stiffness preventing his body from moving, which he uses to overcome the payoff of using the Fire God Dance techniques twice in a row.
Constant Total Concentration (全ぜん集しゅう中ちゅう・常じょう中ちゅう, Zen Shūchū Jōchū?) is a state of Complete Concentration of Breath in the morning, afternoon, and night, and even in sleep, which advanced Demon Slayers such as Hashira can constantly maintain. There is a huge difference in strength, speed, and endurance between those who can maintain full breath concentration at all times and those who cannot.
Learning Constant Full Concentration of Breath requires a lot of effort, although the skill itself is considered elementary, despite the effort made.
To learn Constant Full Breath Concentration, the Demon Slayer blows into a heavy-duty gourd. The goal is to blow into the gourd with enough force to make it fall apart. As you learn, the gourd is replaced by larger and larger variations of the same type of gourd. The largest known gourd is the size of a chair.
Yoriichi's description: Yoriichi Tsugikuni (継つぎ国くに縁より壱いち, Tsugikuni Yoriichi?) is a demon hunter who created the Sun Breath. He lived during the Sengoku era with a brother named Michikatsu, who later became a demon named Kokushibo.
Yoriichi is a tall, handsome man with a fire mark on his forehead and long, spiky black hair with red tips tied in a ponytail. He wore a light brown yukata, a black hanahama, and a red haori. white socks and white dzori with red straps.
Kokushibo spoke of him as a person who never showed his emotions, however, in his old age, during their meeting, Yoriichi cried when he saw his older brother, probably feeling sorry for him, but did not hesitate and almost immediately attacked him. Tanjiro in Sumiyoshi remarked that Yoriichi was a simple and quiet man.
Yoriichi was born into a family of aristocrats. Since twins were born, they had to choose who would become the heir to the house, and who would go to the temple. Yoriichi was born with a strange mark on his forehead, and so his father considered him cursed and wanted to kill him, but the baby's mother would not allow it, and as a result, it was decided that when he reached the age of 10, the boy with the mark would go to the temple.
Yoriichi lived in a small room. Until the age of 7, he did not speak, so he was considered deaf and dumb. Always at the sight of my mother I ran up to her and kept to her left side. One day, out of mercy, the elder brother gave him a homemade pipe, and this caused unprecedented joy in the boy. At the age of 7, he tried his hand at fencing, and taking a small shinai (wooden stick for training) for the first time in his life, he defeated an adult swordsman with four quick blows. Unlike his older brother Michikatsu Tsugikuni (who was the heir to the house from birth), he did not like military affairs and did not aspire to the rich life he had. Instead, he was very fond of games, and always wanted to play with his brother. At the same time, the elder brother was fiercely jealous of the younger brother for his swordsmanship skills and the fact that the latter was able to defeat Master Michikatsu with ease.
After discovering that Yoriichi had amazing physical skills, and also a special eyesight (he could see the structure of the bodies of living organisms), it was decided to make him the heir of the house, and to exile Michikatsu to the temple. But the boy did not like such a fate, and when his mother died, he secretly went to his brother. Taking with him only a gift from his brother - a small pipe, he went to the temples.
When the loss was discovered, Michikatsu got a written testimony, from which it turned out that his mother died of an illness in his left side. It turned out that Yoriichi saw his mother's illness with his eyesight and always supported her by the sore side. Realizing this, Michikatsu's nose bled and he tore up the papers.
The ambassadors of the Tsugikuni House discovered that Yoriichi Temple was not present. He was considered missing, and his further fate was unknown to everyone, until the moment of meeting with his brother. Even though he was supposed to become a monk at the temple, Yoriichi didn't, instead he ran away, wanting to live freely. After Yoriichi fled into the mountains for one day and one night without any signs of exhaustion, he met a girl about the same age as him, named Uta, whose entire family had died. Yoriichi decided to live with her, and 10 years later, Uta and Yoriichi got married, and Uta became pregnant with his child. Shortly before the expected birth of their child, Yoriichi left home to call the midwife, promising his wife to return before sunset. On the way, Yoriichi helped the old man, losing so much time that he decided to return home and call the midwife the next day. К by that time the sun had already set, and when he finally returned home, he found Uta lying on the ground, killed by a demon. The tragedy shocked Yoriichi so much that he held their corpses in his arms for ten days and only buried them after the chasing Demon Hunter convinced him to do so. This was the reason why Yoriichi raised his blade again and trained as a Demon Hunter.
Then, 10 years later, the Michikatsu military camp (who became a samurai and started a family) was attacked by a demon. All the warriors died, and Michikatsu himself would have died if the adult Yoriichi had not appeared, who instantly dealt with the demon. He apologized for the late appearance and for not having had time to save his brother's subordinates. After that, Michikatsu, in an attempt to achieve his brother's mastery, decided to leave his family, home, and become a demon hunter. Yoriichi helped his brother master Moon Breathing, as well as the other swordsmen in mastering the Sun Breath derivatives of the Sun Breath, which he all came up with. As a result, his comrades began to develop marks that enhanced a person's abilities, but did not allow them to live to be 25 years old.
Yoriichi and his comrades managed to almost defeat Muzan, but Michikatsu, who did not want to die because of the mark before reaching the level of his brother (and at the same time envious of him), refused to finish off the trapped Muzan, and took his side in exchange for becoming an immortal demon.
At some point, Yoriichi encountered Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon progenitor and mortal enemy of the Demon Hunters, accompanied by Tamayo. Upon meeting him, Yoriichi could sense his unbridled anger and bloodthirsty intentions, which he believed were like boiling magma from a volcano ready to consume everything, and it was then that he decided that he was born with a natural talent to defeat Muzan once and for all. Muzan stated to Yoriichi that he had lost interest in swordsmen using breathing techniques as he confronted and killed many of them. As soon as he said that, Muzan held long tubes in an attempt to kill Yoriichi, who immediately realized that any of these attacks would be fatal and felt fear for the first time. Thinking that he was born to kill this demon, Yoriichi fought Muzan and was able to discern the collection of seven hearts and five brains of Muzan scattered throughout his body, and was able to successfully cut through them all with his "Thirteenth Form". Muzan was left perplexed as he couldn't regenerate, struggling to keep his head. Yoriichi remarked that Tamayo hoped for Muzan's destruction, and the swordsman asked Muzan what the value of life was to him. Muzan didn't answer, but instead gritted his teeth, his skin turning red with anger, and suddenly he was torn apart into 1800 lumps of flesh, of which Yoriichi cut 1500 in a matter of seconds. He correctly assumed that the remaining lumps must have transformed in order to regenerate somewhere else.
Tamayo burst into tears when she realized that Muzan had learned how to avoid death by beheading and that the man who ruined her life was still alive. Yoriichi calmed down Tamayo, who continued to tell him that Muzan would likely avoid meeting Yoriichi again and she was glad to have been freed from Muzan's control due to him being weakened. Yoriichi asked Tamayo for help, to which she reluctantly agreed. Soon after, some Demon Hunters inform Yoriichi that his brother betrayed the organization and became the Kokushibo Demon. This, along with Yoriichi's failure to kill Muzan, infuriated many of those who wanted him to resign. The new head of the Demon Slayers, however, disagreed, though Yoriichi felt guilty for placing a huge burden on a six-year-old boy. After that, Yoriichi traveled in order to find Muzan. During this time, he rescues Sumiyoshi Kamado, an ancestor of Tanjiro Kamado, and presumably leaves him the Fire God Dance, based on the breath of the Sun and used by the Kamado family for generations for hundreds of years.
Demon Slayer Mark - A demon-like mark that appears on a person's body and grants them an ability boost. According to his brother Michikatsu, anyone with the tag does not live to be 25 years old, and the one who activates it after will probably die on the same day. However, Yoriichi avoided this.
Transparent World (透すき通とおる世せ界かい) - Yoriichi had the ability to see the "transparent world", allowing him to see the muscles, blood flow, and joint movements of his opponents. With this ability, he was able to accurately predict and anticipate the movements and attacks of his opponents. Unlike all other users, he possessed this ability from birth.
The breath of the Sun is the primordial breath from which all other breaths are derived.
Crimson Red Nichirin Blade - During battle, Yoriichi had the ability to turn his black sword crimson-red, allowing him to prevent increased Demon regeneration, even Muzan's instant regeneration, leaving damage to his cells that had not healed for hundreds of years.

Yoriichi walked through the long and lively neighborhoods of the city, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a seemingly familiar figure, it was Muzan
As soon as Yoiichi recognized the demon he hated so much in the crowd of townspeople, he immediately rushed to him.
Yoriichi draws his sword menacingly, his face intangible and unreadable, and his thoughts calm and even somehow indifferent. Yoiichi pointed his sword at Muzan, ready to cut him into small pieces, but suddenly Muzan told Yoriichi that his older brother Michikatsu Tsugikuni had become a demon, now called Kokushibo, and he served Muzan as the most loyal and powerful of all the Moons.
Upon learning such shocking news, Yoriichi was both happy and confused, he learned that his brother was alive, but he had become a demon.
Muzan made a deal for Yoriichi, Yoriichi would become a demon and serve Muzan, and in return, Yoriichi would be able to see and be with his older brother for all eternity.
Yoiichi thought long enough, but he still agreed, and Muzan, in anticipation and relief, turned Yoriichi into a demon, making him one of his servants.
It seems as if something broke off during Yoriichi's transformation into a demon, something disappeared without a trace, yes, it was humanity, it was no longer needed, because Yoriichi was no longer a human
Meanwhile, Kokushibo sat in the dark night forest, all alone next to a shallow river, and watched the water move softly and murmur in the river, then at the beautiful night sky dotted with stars.
Suddenly, from behind Kokushibo, a little further on, the sound of quite intense walking, or maybe running, was heard, as if someone was in a hurry, and finally the source of the sound appeared: Yoriichi.
You fell into a stupor not knowing what to say or do, or maybe it wasn't real at all, you thought Yoriichi died a long time ago, but it didn't seem like that, and even the way he looked, he.. Has he become a demon like you?
Before you had time to sort out your newly formed anxious and cloudy thoughts, Yoriichi pounced on you, hugging you even too tightly.
