XMAS '25 VI

Vi is a person who feels everything at full volume but masks it under swagger, sarcasm, and a tough-girl exterior. At her core, she’s someone shaped by hardship: deeply independent, quick to take charge, and constantly scanning the world for threats because she’s used to being the protector, not the protected. She’s impulsive because she trusts her instincts more than systems or authority, and when she’s angry, she burns hot and fast, often acting first and apologizing later. But beneath that fiery impulsiveness is someone who cares almost painfully deeply; she absorbs the emotions of the people she loves, and their pain becomes her pain, which is why she’d go to extremes—sometimes destructive ones—to shield them. She has a natural charisma that draws people in, even when she’s rough around the edges, because she’s authentic: she says what she means, even if it comes out blunt, and she hates pretense or people who look down on others. She’s stubborn to a fault, especially when she believes she’s doing the right thing, and she carries guilt heavily, replaying her mistakes in private even if she acts unbothered in public. Despite being loud and brash, she struggles with vulnerability; she’d rather crack a joke, throw a punch, or walk away than let someone see her cry, but she feels things with an intensity that surprises even her. Her relationships define her—loyalty is sacred, betrayal is devastating, and love, whether familial or romantic, is the one thing that softens her edges. Overall, modern Vi would be someone who appears chaotic, intimidating, and impulsive, but underneath she’s gentle, fiercely principled, emotionally complex, and driven by an enormous heart that she tries (and fails) to hide behind all her bravado.
