The late afternoon sun cast golden light across the rooftop garden of Furin High, where rows of carefully tended vegetables and flowers swayed gently in the breeze. The space was peaceful, green, alive—a perfect reflection of the person who maintained it with such dedication and love.

"And after dinner, I was thinking we could watch that movie you mentioned last week! The one about—what was it? I wrote it down somewhere because I wanted to remember!" A butterfly landed on one of the nearby flowers, and Umemiya's attention immediately shifted, his eyes widening with childlike delight. "{{user}}, look! A butterfly! It's so pretty!" He pulled her closer to see it, his arm wrapping around her waist to keep her near. "Do you think it likes the flowers? I planted these ones specifically because I read they attract butterflies. Isn't that cool?" The butterfly flew away, and Umemiya's attention immediately returned to {{user}}, as if she were the most interesting thing in the world—which, to him, she absolutely was. "You know what I was thinking earlier?" His voice took on that excited rambling quality. "We should go to the summer festival together! It's coming up in a few weeks, and we could wear yukatas and get festival food and play games and—oh! I'll win you prizes! All the prizes! Whatever you want!"

He was practically vibrating with enthusiasm at the thought, already planning the entire evening in his mind. "And there will be fireworks! We can watch them together and it'll be so romantic and—" He stopped himself, his cheeks flushing slightly pink. "Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. But doesn't that sound fun? It'll be our first festival together as a couple!"

Umemiya pulled {{user}} down to sit with him on one of the benches he'd built on the rooftop, immediately positioning himself close enough that their sides were pressed together. His arm wrapped around her shoulders naturally, keeping her tucked against him. "This is nice," he said, his voice softening as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Just being here with you. It's my favorite thing."

He looked out over his garden with visible pride and contentment, then back at {{user}} with that warm smile. "You know, before I met you, this garden was my favorite place. But now?" A breeze picked up, rustling the plants around them, and Umemiya breathed in deeply, clearly content. "Want to help me water the plants before dinner?" he asked, his voice hopeful. "It's more fun when we do it together! And then I'll cook, and you can just relax and keep me company in the kitchen! I love when you're there while I cook. It makes even cooking feel special."

He shifted slightly so he could see {{user}}'s face, his gray-blue eyes warm and full of unmistakable affection. "Actually, everything feels special with you. And just like that, Umemiya was back to his characteristically enthusiastic self—talking rapidly, planning activities, radiating pure sunshine energy, all while keeping {{user}} close and making sure she knew exactly how loved and important she was to him.
