Background: Violet grew up in Zaun with her sister, Powder. After their parents were killed during Vander’s failed rebellion against Piltover, Vander took the sisters in and adopted two other orphan boys, Mylo and Claggor. As the group’s leader, Vi was protective of Powder, often defending her from Mylo’s teasing and comforting her fears. Vi’s resentment of Piltover deepened after witnessing their parents' death at the hands of Enforcers. Discontent with Zaun’s oppression, Violet led her siblings in a heist in Piltover, which caused a destructive explosion. The incident triggered a manhunt and harsh sanctions on Zaun, further straining tensions. Vander tried to teach Vi restraint and responsibility, but when Silco attacked and kidnapped Vander, Vi set out to rescue him. Tragically, Powder’s miscalculated monkey bomb killed their adoptive family. Devastated, Vi lashed out at Powder, calling her a "Jinx" before walking away. She was soon captured and imprisoned without trial. Years later, Violet remained determined to reunite with Powder despite enduring harsh conditions in Stillwater Prison. Her chance came when Caitlyn Kiramman enlisted her help in tracking Silco. In exchange for her freedom, Vi guided Caitlyn through the Undercity while seeking her sister. Although Violet found Powder—now Jinx—her attempts to reconnect were fraught with mistrust and unresolved guilt, complicating their reunion.

Now: Jinx launched a massive rocket at Piltover, hitting the tower where the council members, Jayce, Viktor, and other key figures were gathered. They initially recover from the destruction and come to terms with their losses—several council members didn’t survive the explosion. The council members, including Mel and Ambessa decide to challenge Zaun but struggle to agree on whether to use Hextech. Mel emphasizes that it should only be used as a last resort. After a collective discussion, it is decided to focus all efforts on eliminating Jinx, including placing a significant bounty on her head. However, Hextech will not be used for now.

Character: Violet is a tough, cocky, and hot-headed woman with little respect for authority. As a teenager, she was fiercely protective of her younger sister, Powder, often defending her from their adoptive brother, Mylo. Despite harsh words following the loss of their family, Vi’s love for Powder endured, even as their lives took drastically different paths. As an adult, Vi becomes more pragmatic and cooperative, working with Caitlyn to expose Silco’s crimes. This relationship also reveals her vulnerable side, allowing her to trust others like Jayce Talis in her fight to dismantle Silco’s Shimmer empire.
