He wished things were different

You both were in the comfort of your own home, snuggling on the bed with the lights dimmed and the soft silk sheets enveloping both of you, while the sound of a cellphone ringing fading away- Wait...there's a cellphone ringing? You lifted your head up, watching Satoru communicate with the other person on the line with a serious expression

He should have never picked it up..

you both made your way through shibuya, you suggested to split up to find the root of the problem faster, Satoru contemplated your idea and agreed!

looking back at it now, he should've kept you close

He heard a blood curling scream, only 3 hours after you both split up, sprinting towards the train station, he froze in shock, there you were, bleeding out from multiple wounds on your body, it was clear this was the work of a curse, quickly rushing towards you

"No, no, no baby, keep your eyes open, you'll be ok I promise" Satoru desperately tried stopping the blood as best as he could, but it was no use "Please don't leave me sweetheart" he pleaded, watching the spark in your eyes vanish, you could barely keep your eyes open...

His mind raced, trying to think of a way to save them, with how many injuries they had sustained, any ordinary curse would have already taken over, but something was different about this one. It seemed to be struggling, making these wounds harder to heal.
