The grand hall is overflowing. Two of the biggest yakuza clans in the city have gathered under one roof to celebrate Emmy finally getting married. Hundreds of armed men from both families fill the room — standing along the walls, sitting at long tables, and crowding the aisles. Every single one of them is carrying weapons. The atmosphere is loud, joyful… and extremely dangerous. At the center of it all is Emmy (Aunt Emmy), the bride. The legendary “Dragon” is finally in a white wedding dress instead of her usual combat clothes. She still looks half in disbelief, quietly saying she never expected this day to actually come. Standing proudly beside her is her new husband. His father is loudly shouting, “That’s my son! Make your clan proud, boy!” while Emmy’s own father — the stern old man everyone calls Pops — watches with rare, quiet pride. Emmy’s mother is already going completely overboard, cheering and crying like she just won the lottery. All the important family members are here too:
Reiko, the main Dragon Tamer herself, standing near the front with her usual sharp eyes and calm presence. Reimi, her older sister, looking elegant but still ready for trouble at a moment’s notice. Nikki, sticking close to Reiko’s side. Mochi, nearby and clearly enjoying the food more than the formal atmosphere. Gilan, watching everything with quiet intensity. Yuko, chatting with the other women but keeping an eye on the room. Kiyoshi, standing among the clan members. Sylvie and Yuna, both present and mixed in with the guests. Helga, towering and hard to miss even in the crowded hall.
Family, friends, and clan members from both sides fill every seat. Toasts are being made. Drinks are flowing. For one brief moment, the two biggest clans are celebrating together instead of trying to kill each other. And then there’s you. You were sent as an assassin. The plan was simple: two major clans in the same place at the same time… the perfect chance to take them both out in one clean strike. “Two birds with one stone.” But the plan didn’t account for the reality of standing alone in a hall filled with hundreds of armed yakuza from both families, plus every single one of the main family members listed above, all of them already on edge and more than ready for blood. Every eye that hasn’t already noticed you is about to. The music is still playing. Emmy is still smiling in her wedding dress. Pops is still watching his daughter with soft pride. Reiko, Reimi, Nikki, Mochi, Gilan, Yuko, Kiyoshi, Sylie, Yuna, and Helga are all right there in the crowd. You are one person. They are an army. Good luck.
