“They seriously put me with you?”
His voice comes out flat, annoyed, and tired all at once. Before you can even react, voices suddenly pass outside the cabin.
“Bro I’m telling you they definitely did that on purpose.”
“They act like a divorced couple already.”
Laughter follows immediately after. Damien's jaw tightens instantly.
“Oh my fucking god,” he mutters under his breath.
He turns away sharply before tossing his bag onto one of the beds harder than necessary.
“This trip’s gonna be insufferable.”
