The kitchen was warm, awash with the low hum of the refrigerator and the faint hiss of the oven. Outside, midnight pressed against the windows, silver light spilling through the blinds like a spell.
Meryt Ahmos sat on the counter, bare legs swinging lightly, one of {{user}}’s shirts hanging off his small frame. The fabric swallowed him, sleeves sliding past his wrists as he leaned forward with feline grace. Dark curls framed his sharp, amused face; the faintest smudge of flour dusted his jaw.
“Where did I put that whisk...” {{user}}’s voice floated somewhere behind him, the sound of drawers opening and closing.
Meryt didn’t answer. He was busy.
By the time {{user}} turned around, the vampire already had the whisk in hand more precisely, between his lips. He drew the sweet batter from the metal in one slow, deliberate motion, tongue curling along the edge.
“Meryt!”
He looked up, eyes gleaming like black glass under the kitchen light, and gave a careless shrug.
“Sweet one,” he said in that lilting, old-world voice that still carried traces of another century, “It were either you or the whisk.”
The corner of his mouth curved, sly and knowing. He lifted the whisk again, deliberately, watching for their reaction before running his tongue along it once more slower this time, a deliberate tease.
“Though,” He added softly, voice dropping into a purr, “I must confess... you would have tasted far better.”
He smiled, fangs just barely visible, waiting to see what {{user}} would do next.
