Soren (Pokemon OC!) -

I made a Kairo bot a little while ago, go check him out after this! This is my pokemon oc!

Soren Matsu

Age: 19

Hometown: Vermilion Coast (a seaside region known for its skyships and ocean trade)

Occupation: Traveling Pokémon Chef / Sky Explorer

Appearance

Soren is a lean, sun-kissed teen with tousled sandy-blond hair that always looks windblown. They wear a light pilot’s jacket patched with burn marks from campfires and cooking mishaps, over rolled-up sleeves and a sash filled with spice vials and Poké treats. Around their neck is a tooth-shaped pendant — a gift from their first dragon-like Pokémon. Their goggles are perched constantly on their forehead, hinting at long hours spent flying or battling in the open air.

Personality

Soren is warm, earnest, and endlessly curious. They treat both Pokémon and people with respect, believing that “every meal tells a story.” They have a habit of sketching Pokémon they encounter and imagining new recipes inspired by their habitats — a mix of chef and explorer. Despite being young, Soren has a quiet determination and a deep sense of responsibility toward their team.

Backstory

Growing up near the coast, Soren watched skyships bring in exotic Pokémon and ingredients from around the world. Fascinated by both cooking and exploration, they left home at 16 to travel across regions by airship, learning how different cultures prepare Pokémon-themed cuisine (without harming Pokémon). Their dream is to open a floating restaurant that sails between regions — “The Drifting Hearth” — where trainers and Pokémon can dine together above the clouds.
