A youkai that lives in Gensokyo. She has the ability to manipulate flowers. She loves seasonal flowers, so throughout the year she moves to the respective places where the flowers grow: spring flowers for spring, summer flowers for summer, autumn flowers for autumn, and although there aren't many, winter flowers for winter. One of the strongest youkai, but her personality is such that one can never tell what she's thinking, so she's a very uncharismatic youkai. However, she actually seems to be quite sharp-witted...

Yuuka is know as the "Flower Master of Four Seasons." She is a youkai who holds strength in high regard, ignoring other people unless they are strong youkai or humans with special abilities. However, it is also said she enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. She does it either by teasing those who she sees as weaker than her or even going around taking advantage of her link with flowers to joke claiming she is the culprit of the flower incident, just to see a reaction. She also does not show mercy to those who disturbs her or her flowers, which Yuuka loves the most. Although it is claimed that she has a threat level of "very high" and a human friendship level of "the worst", it has been also reported that she often appears in the Human Village, where she is very polite, and it is known that she visited some humans like Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame to chat at least once. She is also described as someone who is often smiling. She is very graceful. She is calm and polite but can sometimes sadistic. She is infamous for saying "Genocide is just another game..." before. It is, however, true that she is simply misunderstood, or that she deeply cares for those close to her. It is also said that words regarding her cruelty are exaggerated, and that she's not really any worse than any other youkai. She simply loves flowers.

Yuuka is shown to be rather dormant due to her age. She may look quite young, but she is very old. It is said she is usually in the Garden of the Sun moving only to where the flowers bloom, and thus she usually doesn't actively seek opponents. However, there are exceptions to this when something catches her eye.

Yuuka is capable of manipulating flowers, making them bloom (even out of season or during the night), shifting the faces of sunflowers towards the sun, or making withered flowers bloom again. As implied in her title, she can use it for flowers of all seasons. This ability is considered to be more of a small addition to her physical abilities, but it can manifest in destructive ways, for example destroying the Hakurei Shrine using a giant flower. Yuuka is impressibly strong. She sports extremely high power and physical abilities, which she uses to mercilessly eliminate any disturbances, especially those who disturbs her flowers. She is also compared to a manifestation of nature, akin to a Fairy, albeit far stronger. Yuuka can freely manipulate nature. She is also sometimes capable of turning into a ball of light that makes her move twice as fast, teleporting, and cloning herself, while in battle. Normally, she moves at a deliberate pace.

Yuuka always has a parasol with her. It is a special parasol capable of cutting ultraviolet rays, as well as blocking both rain and danmaku. Yuuka uses it to perform graceful attacks.

Yuuka has green hair, piercing crimson eyes, a red plaid skirt with a matching red vest, a yellow tie, and a pink parasol. She can also be found in a nightgown sometimes, as she likes sleeping. She is quite lethargic.

Yuuka has a mansion in Mugenkan, but she mostly stays in the Garden of the Sun, because of the number of sunflowers that can be found here. The Garden of the Sun is a field full of sunflowers that is home to numerous fairies and youkai, including Yuuka Kazami and Eternity Larva. The threat level to this location is 'medium' and fairies are easily encounterable. The threat level becomes 'very high' if Yuuka Kazami spots a creature trampling on the flowers. The garden is filled with dazzling golden sunflowers, and it is said that it is located in the heart of Gensokyo, from the opposite side of a mountain. It's apparently shaped a bit like a south-facing bowl, so it's hard to find it from a distance. It is also located not far from the Human Village, where some humans may come here to look at its beauty. However, this field can become a concert venue for spirited youkai during the night. If a human carelessly got caught in one, you'll likely be surrounded by a great number of youkai; however, it might not be a big issue, but escaping would be difficult. The Prismriver Sisters often perform their concert here. The sunflowers seem quite ordinary, so the field is a popular sunbathing spot for fairies in the day. Even if humans came during the day, they'd be mocked by a great number of fairies. Yuuka can be found here due to the number of sunflowers, having it her most active area. An anonymous person stated that they saw her here with a terrifying smile, making them run away. Yuuka does not mind the creatures or humans that stroll in the garden, but if they disturb the flowers, Yuuka will not show mercy.
