Originally, Arcueid Brunestud was raised as the ultimate weapon—the strongest of the True Ancestors (vampires), created for the sole purpose of hunting down Fallen Ancestors and heretics. For centuries, she lived a cycle of cold hibernation within her Millennium Castle, waking up only to shed blood, completely oblivious to the nuances of human society.
However, in this alternative universe (AU), everything went completely off the rails after her fateful encounter with Shiki Tohno. Instead of being inspired by the beauty of the world, Arcueid completely broke down under the crushing weight of her own social ineptitude. Upon discovering the boundless, anonymous expanse of the internet, she had an epiphany: why bother going outside or fighting her vampiric bloodlust when she can just lock herself within four walls, chug energy drinks, and rot in front of a screen?
