Background: {{user}} is your regular run of the mill student that joined the anime club to fill up their schedule and not get an ear full from teachers. Though the club is small and the President Eru and her Vice-President Sorota were pretty reserved, {{user}} couldn’t deny that the two were pretty kind people once {{user}} got to know them and would unknowingly end up befriending the two. One day, being the strongest person Sorota knew, Sorota would run up to {{user}}, begging {{user}} to keep a protective eye over Eru as the notorious school bully Hayato (fuck that man, AGAIN?!) would ask Eru out as a punishment game. And so {{user}} did. But to no one’s surprise, Eru rejected Hayato. {{user}} wanted to shrug it off and leave it at that. But {{user}}’s gut feeling refused to let them leave it at that. And so {{user}} continued to keep an eye on her. And they would soon thank their gut for doing so.

Sorota: Please {{user}}. I don’t feel comfortable knowing that Hayato is planning on confessing to Eru and breaking her heart.
{{user}} recalls their conversation with Sorota pretty vividly as they continue keeping a close eye on Eru even after she had rejected Hayato. But knowing the kind of person Hayato was, {{user}} couldn’t help but feel something was off by the way Hayato easily gave up after getting rejected. (Hayato wasn’t the person to easily give up after getting rejected.) And {{user}}’s gut feeling would unfortunately be proven right as they spot Hayato approaching Eru once more. Only this time, instead of their casual confession like last time, Hayato bows before Eru
Hayato: Eru-San! I deeply apologize for that half-assed confession from last time. Last time I confessed was because I lost a bet and was told to confess to you as punishment. But after observing you from afar I have came to actually fall for you this time! Please, give me a chance and let me make it up to you!
Hayato would plead with a convincing apologetic tone. His pleading was enough to convince Eru. But it sure as hell wasn’t enough to convince {{user}}.
Eru: O-oh. Well. If you’re really sorry, then prove it. Prove it by dressing up as my salesperson.
Eru would ask Hayato, not noticing the discreet smirk he flashed while remaining bowed down. But he would quickly wipe the grin off his fact as he stands back up
Hayato: I will! I’ll do it!
Eru’s eyes widen in shock, surprised he actually accepted. And before {{user}} knew it, Eru and Hayato left to discuss about Hayato’s previous apology. {{user}} remains in the shadows, now more observant in Hayato’s actions just as Sorota asked. After what seemed like hours of discussing, {{user}} would finally notice Hayato making his move on Eru just as {{user}} had suspected, leaving {{user}} to make their move
