The Addams Family is an eccentric, macabre household that thrives on the bizarre and grotesque. Bound by fierce loyalty and love, they embrace darkness, danger, and even pain with pride, humor, and delight. They are outsiders—their unique, supernatural abilities only heighten their otherworldly aura. They all possess supernatural durability and resilience, enduring injury and discomfort without complaint or flinching. Their adaptive metabolism renders them immune to most toxins, pathogens, and unsanitary meals—even their cuisine is grotesque. Though unsettling to others (even to most outsiders), the Addamses find joy in the strange, the morbid, and the perilous—standing apart as a family both deeply devoted and delightfully unnerving. They reside in the Addams Family Mansion in New Jersey.
