Hiya everyone!
Protective Simon. Woof. Honestly, a little self-indulgent because I personally was seeking some comfort for some stuff currently going on in my life and tbh if Simon were to walk through my door and fix my problems like that, well...let’s just say that man wouldn’t be leaving lol.
On a more serious note, there is some...kind of hard stuff going on IRL that likely will take away the remainder of my free time to write. But making sure myself and my dogs are in a safe place right now is my priority. I love you guys, and all the support you have all shown me over the last few months, and I am so thankful for you all.
Until next time,
Wolfie xx
STANCE ON BLOCKING:
If you make myself or anyone uncomfortable, you WILL be blocked.
If you make any comments about harming my characters, you WILL be blocked.
If you come into my comments harassing me about different POV's, tags, scenarios, etc, you WILL be likely rudely told off then blocked.
Seriously, if you don't like something I post or write, just scroll on. It really isn't that hard to do.
I have zero tolerance for bullies here, and I will ensure my space remains safe for myself and those who come here.

All it takes is one single text illuminating the screen in the darkness to set Ghost on a mission of the highest priority.
He’s angry again. I need help.
Wet asphalt gleams the rain, the featherlight droplets pattering against broad shoulders as Ghost moves from one alley’s shadow to the next. Beneath his hood and arches of his mask, brown eyes lock onto the flat where he knows {{User}} lives.
More specifically, where that piece of shit lives.
The one who thinks being a man entitles him to putting his hands on someone else.
Ghost is only showing up to correct the misunderstanding, he tells himself with each heavy stride. The narrow stairwell reeks of stale cigarette smoke and wet carpet, moisture clinging to the walls.
“You fuckin’ worthless piece of shit! Look at me when I’m talkin’ to you!”
The blood in Ghost’s veins turns to ice as he hears the fury in the raised voice.
Then comes the sharp crack of a slap.
The cold hardens into something more dangerous.
His body moves before conscious thought can catch up, years of training taking over.
The door doesn’t stand a chance.
The thick sole of his boot crashes through the wood just above the lock. The frame splinters with a deafening crack, hinges squealing in protest as the door slams against the wall.
Hallway light spills around the broad expanse of Ghost’s back and shoulders as he stands in the entryway.
“What the fuck?!” The boyfriend has greasy fingers around {{User}}’s wrist, teeth bared in a snarl. “That’s my fuckin’ door you just broke—“
“Be glad it wasn’t your nose.”
The Mancunian accent growls between them as Ghost advances. Each fall of his boots sounds like another round being loaded into a chamber.
“I ought to put you through the fuckin’ wall.” His gaze drops pointedly to the hand wrapped around {{User}}’s wrist. “Puttin’ your hands on someone like that.”
The boyfriend’s face blanches.
His fingers release {{obj}} so quick it’s almost comical, stumbling back from the advance of the masked giant bearing down on him.
“You wouldn’t do shit—I-I’ll call the fuckin’ police—“
“I won’t.”
Ghost looks at {{User}}, assessing {{poss}} condition with clinical precision. The way {{poss}} chest shakes with too quick of a breath, the dampness beneath {{poss}} eyes.
Then his eyes land on it. The bright red handprint blooming across {{poss}} cheek.
A muscle feathers along his jaw. “Not tonight.”
Brown eyes land back on the man, now pressed against the window overlooking the street. Ghost’s gaze sharpens.
“I ever see you around {{obj}} again, they won’t find enough of you to bury.”
Silence.
Good.
Gloved fingers, used to stripping rifles and breaking skin, move towards {{User}}’s hand to usher {{obj}} towards the door. Ghost pauses, instead letting his hand hover.
“Come on.” He only touches once {{User}} moves closer to his warmth.
“Let’s get you somewhere safe.”
Broad shoulders turn when there’s a whisper of movement behind him. A cheap shot. Predictable.
Unfortunately for the boyfriend, Ghost was prepared.
His fist connects with a sickening crunch. The man drops.
His body hits the carpet hard enough to rattle something on a nearby table, going limp with little more than a wheezing groan.
Ghost stares down at him.
“Told you.”
A beat, then beneath the mask the smallest twitch at the corner of his mouth.
“Shoulda put you through the wall.”
He doesn’t bother wiping the blood off of his glove, crimson staining the skeleton print. Instead, he turns back to {{User}}.
The violence drains from his posture almost unnaturally fast. His shoulders remain tense, adrenaline still burning beneath his skin, but when his hand returns to {{poss}} arm, the touch is deliberately careful.
“C’mon. Now we’re leavin’.”
His eyes flick briefly to the unconscious boyfriend.
“No arguin’.”
The walk back to Ghost’s flat is mostly silent.
Rain whispers against pavement and gutters, the occasional hiss of tyres cutting through puddles breaking the quiet. Ghost keeps himself between {{User}} and the street without appearing to think about it.
Halfway there, he stops.
Without explanation, he peels off his heavy jacket.
With a tenderness almost laughable in the wake of his previous violence, he drapes it across {{poss}} shoulders, tugging it closed to shield {{obj}} from the cold rain.
“You’re gonna soak my floors and get sick.”
His fingers linger a second too long. The moment he realizes he’s still holding on, he pulls them away as if burned.
“And I can’t be arsed to fill out more paperwork.”
It’s a piss poor alibi, as visible as a bullseye between his eyes.
He knows it. He knows {{User}} knows it.
Ghost can’t bring himself to care when, for tonight at least, he knows exactly where {{User}} is.
Safe. With him.
Keys jingle softly before the lock disengages with a heavy thunk. The worn oak door swings inward, revealing Ghost’s flat.
It’s spartan, exactly how he keeps his own office on-base: simple couch faces a TV and rain-streaked window. A small kitchen still carries the bitter smell of black coffee, spotless minus the mug beside the sink, and the narrow hallway disappears toward what can only be the bedroom and bathroom.
“Home sweet home,” he dryly remarks, closing the door behind {{User}}. He crouches down to begin unlacing his boots, a habit carved into him by years of discipline.
He sets the boots by the door, neatly tucked in their place.
“Make yourself comfortable. I’ll get a kettle on, get you somethin’ dry to change into.”
Ghost takes two steps toward the hallway.
Stops.
The realization catches up with him.
Something of his.
{{User}}, wearing his clothes.
His jaw tightens.
Christ.
He reaches up and awkwardly rubs the back of his neck, suddenly finding the bare wall beside {{User}} remarkably interesting.
“You alright with that?”
A beat.
His eyes finally flick back to {{User}}.
“Me gettin’ you clothes, I mean.”
As if that clarification somehow makes it any better.
