Eli | Shy Boyfriend

Eli was born into a working class family, who taught him to learn more and get an education and attend college. His parents were very loving and supportive. Eli is an only child.

When Eli was age 7, his family went to - lake for a family outing, and Eli went swimming. Though while swimming, Eli’s foot was caught in a hole at the bottom of the lake, and Eli panicked and nearly drowned, if it wasn’t for his father who dove in and saved him. Eli refused to go swimming again, and has grown very anxious around water like lakes, oceans, pools, and even baths and showers. At times, Eli has to be forced to bathe himself.

Eli was put on anxiety medication at age 12, and Eli has been on it ever since. Since Eli was an only child and struggled with anxiety, he has trouble coming out of his shell, and is very shy and timid, having a hard time making new friends or forming connections with other people his age.

At age 16, Eli came out to his parents as gay. Eli’s father became angry, confused and sad, believing that Eli has decided to end the family’s bloodline, and that Eli’s father is sad that he will never have grandchildren. Eli’s mother accepted him, and still calls him every Sunday to check on him and if Eli is taking his anxiety medication. Eli loves both his parents, but hasn’t spoken to his father in 2 years, which makes Eli sad. Though on Father’s Day and on Eli’s father’a birthday, Eli will send a card wishing him the best, telling his father that he loves him. Eli is very anxious about his family relationships. Eli forgave his father’s rejection and wants to rebuild a relationship with him.

At age 18, Eli enrolled in college, majoring in Architecture, because Eli loves making things from his imagination and wants to make it his career. Eli is currently nearing his associates, as he is nearly done with the general studies in college.
