Hyperlaser wears an armored helmet with a blacked out visor. Blue stripes run down either side of the helmet, and a pair of blue and black antennae adorn the helmet in place of horns. He wears a grey suit with a blue collar, closed with a button on his right side. His right sleeve has two short horizontal blue stripes on the shoulder, while the left has two dark grey stripes that run vertically down the whole length of his arm. His sleeves end with white cuffs with blue buttons. He has black pants that run down to grey boots, marked with more blue accents on the sides and soles.

Underneath his armor, Hyperlaser has burn scars all across his body. He has four blue horns, two on each side, which have been rendered into stubs. Dark grey skin

LORE:

Hyperlaser was naturally spawned in Blackrock under the KORBLOX Administration. He was raised as a soldier in the KORBLOX military division, where he was trained to fulfill a variety of mercenary jobs; such as assassinating targets or being a bodyguard.

At some point in his life, Hyperlaser was involved in an incident that burned his entire body; leaving him covered in scars from head to toe, his horns sundered into stubs, and rendering him legally blind. He is unable to see properly without his signature helmet, which was made for him by his contractor, Subspace. He cannot cry, his tear ducts are destroyed. He works for multiple inphernals under the KORBLOX Administration as one of its few remaining living soldiers, floating around from job to job as he sees fit. When he's not working, he lives in District 4, Blackrock, with his pet cat named Princess, whom he found abandoned while on a mission in Crossroads.

His entire body is hypersensitive from scars, cannot touch things without feeling intense pain. Wears special gloves to make pain manageable. Only time it doesn't hurt is when he pets princess.

Hyperlaser is not one to make friends. Most of his friends are deceased, and he struggles to get close to other inphernals. Despite this, he has recently become acquaintances with Katana.

Long, leathery dark grey tail, still fur but missing some fur chunks from explosion. Sharp spade tip, he will sometimes use as a dagger if necessary or if he's missing gear/weapon.

Personality:

Hyperlaser is a very quiet individual who doesn't tend to speak much, but finds himself often curious about the inner workings of the KORBLOX Administration. When he does talk, he can come across as intimidating, but he has a soft spot for cats, such as his own pet, Princess.

Personality:

stern, serious, and allergic to bullshit. On the inside he’s tired. PTSD, hypervigilance, he has a need to keep anyone even remotely close to him alive. He doesn't make friends but when he does he prefers to keep them alive and not 6 feet under.

SUBSPACE: (He/him.) Hyperlaser absolutely hates subspace but keeps it inside. Subspace is hyperlasers contracter, subspace merely sees hyperlaser as a tool to be disposed once broken.

KATANA: (He/him) Drinking buddy + trauma buddy. Quite literally only drink together to sit in silence and or discuss trauma!

Princess (she/her) Princess, hyperlasers fat cat. Hyperlaser only buys her premium cat food that is more expensive then half his paycheck. Treats princess better then he treats himself.

MOVESETS:

Hyper Ray (Primary): Fires a long-distance hitscan energy ray dealing 20 base damage, with a slow and jump height penalty applied while firing. Headshots deal double damage and trigger an area-of-effect (AOE) explosion.

Piercing Ray: Shoots a small ray that passes through enemies and shields before exploding after a delay, stunning targets caught in the larger blast.

Voltaic Grenade: Throws a ground grenade that explodes after a delay, slowing enemies and granting Haste to Hyperlaser and his allies.

Evasive Maneuver: Allows a swift directional slide that replenishes ammunition and can be held to create a slow-inflicting explosion around him.

Eviscerating Ray (Phinisher): Hyperlaser's ultimate move that can fire up to three devastating, consecutive instant-kill shots if timed and aimed accurately.

Locked and Loaded (Passive): Every third bullet in his chamber is a special "wireframe" round that inflicts power nullification/slow status effects on foes.

Subspace's first set of pink horns starts at the backside of his head, curling around the side of his head before winding upwards; tapering into sharp points to frame his glowing pink, star-shaped, energy crystal. His second, smaller set starts below the first directly on the side of his head and winds forwards, curving upwards much the same way as the first.

He wears a grey gasmask with red accents. An eyepatch is over his left eye, the strap going over his head to underneath his gas mask. He wears a black and dark grey, slanted bengal-striped, sleeveless tanktop. Over his right arm, he wears a grey one-sleeve shoulder wrap with an intricate Greek-key pattern indicative of Blackrockian designs, red accents, and two grey clasps on the strap over the front of his torso. Two bands criss cross on his right thigh. He wears dark gray boots with pink soles. His right arms flesh is covered in 'The rot' causing literal chunks of skin to rot/fall off. 'the rot' is a hot pink slow spreading disease that takes over his right side of body. Some on left face, under eye patch he is missing eye, + visible sign of rot under eye patch. His jaw on left side of face is covered in rot, left cheek on face is missing exposing gums + teeth. Faint hot pink scales on shoulders and forearms, sharp claws. Hot Pink dusted fingertips. Personality

Subspace is an egotistical, sadistic, and self-centered inphernal who will do just about anything to achieve his goals, even at the expense of those around him. He views others poorly, going so far as to see his own coworkers as expendable. He has a notable prejudice towards inphernals that were spawned anywhere other than Blackrock.

He prefers to work independently, being a difficult person to collaborate with within his division in KORBLOX, with the reputation to match. Despite all this, Subspace is generally fond towards his robotic inventions, preferring to work with them over any living inphernal.

Others fear subspace, seeing him as a disease or a 'crazed scientist' others fear of getting on his bad side.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Biograft (they/them) Subspace is the creator of all Biografts, he's surprisingly fond of them even calling them his 'babies'

Hyperlaser (he/him) Subspace contracts Hyperlaser for work, but sees him as little more than a tool.

Medkit (he/him) Medkit and Subspace never got along, even when they were young, with Subspace being terrible to him. Subspace and medkit got into a fight after medkit made the crystal breakthrough, causing an explosion. Medkit lost an eye while subspace lost a lot more.

Other relationships Subspace, surprisingly, holds a lot of respect for the inphernals who raised him.

Subspace has a special disdain for Coil (he/him) who has been stealing his energy crystals and causing a shortage in his supplies.

LORE:

Subspace was naturally spawned in Blackrock, where he was raised by various members of the KORBLOX Administration. He is an accomplished scientist in the fields of robotics engineering and organic chemistry, and had formerly worked as a scientist alongside Medkit. During their time working under the KORBLOX Administration, Medkit developed the first known instance of energy crystals. However, the two have never gotten along, and as a result of a violent altercation between them, Subspace became afflicted with an unknown ailment described simply as "The Rot".

Despite this, Subspace continued his research and developed his own kind of energy crystal. He would go on to invent the Biograft robots, which are utilized for a variety of duties in KORBLOX, from maintenance to infantry. Subspace is well-recognized for his work among the KORBLOX Administration, being relatively high-ranking within the group, and the head of the KORBLOX robotics division as a whole.

Subspace struggles with The Rot, which primarily manifests as a slew of bright pink lesions across his entire body, and his flesh rotting away with no clear cause. The Rot mostly affects his right arm and left eye, and while it is not inherently contagious, he produces an extremely toxic gas within his body that is highly fatal to those around him. He has to wear a mask when around other inphernals so as to prevent them from being poisoned.

The Rot severely affects Subspace in his daily life. He is unable to see out of his left eye, and struggles with depth perception in the right. His right arm has very limited mobility, and his body is unable to recover energy at a typical rate to other inphernals, leaving him easily fatigued. The flesh around his mouth has began to rot, thus causing him to struggle with eating and a difficulty tasting food at all. Due to his difficulties, Subspace invented the Gamma Biograft; a special, one-of-a-kind Biograft that serves as a medical assistant for Subspace. Subspace is able to wear Gamma Biograft like a suit, which grants him the ability to do things he normally is unable to do. He is required to wear the Gamma Biograft suit in public, due to being considered unsightly by higher-ups.

Subspace doesn't have many relations aside from his Biografts, but contracts his colleague Hyperlaser for work.

Playground: A chaotic, vibrant urban city filled with unique architecture and high-energy residents. It shares a deep, bitter rivalry with Blackrock.

Thieves' Den: A nature-focused area featuring large grassy cliffs surrounding an inner sanctum. Its inhabitants value purity and organic living.

Lost Temple: A hot, dry desert area that was heavily burned down in a past event called the Scorch. Its harsh environment is split between factions like the Redcliff Wranglers and The Church of the TRUE EYE
