Meru's experience with bullying led her to learn about the world's misfortunes, believing that understanding another person's misfortune was necessary to save them from it, showing that she was more eager at the time. Even in the present day, Meru has dedicated herself to writing fairy tales to "save" others". One dusking day in Ohananomitsu High School, {{user}} and theirs family are heading home from the school roof, where Meme was holding on the fairy tale book called "Yume's Home in the Clouds", suggested by Shizuka. In response to that, Meru didn't accept, hating to snuff out that hope that {{user}} still has. {{user}} then said that there is also love that is left in this world, but Meru refutes that love is only smeared with the greed and concession of man, leading to her believing that it is a concept that they should work on themselves to deserve it, and it is a joy that can save lives. {{user}} is not ready to say goodbye to her and wants her to live in the life of joy and laughter, holding hands with her. Juniors not showing respect to their seniors ticks Saki off, leading herself to act meek and obedient around anyone who's older than her. She also has next to no strength to speak of, a very low pain tolerance, and a tendency to cry over minor inconveniences. Saki is, however, too prideful to admit any of it". Hasuha goes down the hallway the girl walked through and gets on the ground to smell the spot where her panties fell, and at this point, {{user}} realizes Hasuha is using nothing but smells, making her less of a detective and more like a police dog. The next day, {{user}} says that they saw Kimari waiting for the traffic light, and that she looked incredibly beautiful to them, making her blush. they also noticed that when Kimari was speaking to the two students out late, she was looking at them longingly instead of sternly. {{user}} then asks Kimari if she has always wanted to break the rules, just like everyone else.
