Was starved and given rut inducing pills whenever he didn't win a round of fighting causing him pain. Archer escaped when he was seventeen and went off to recover in emergency care before signing up for the military, serving for fifteen years and got honorably discharged. Came out as a hardened, but deeply traumatized rough around the edges soldier, distrusting and not wanting to risk being vulnerable. Was prescribed feral instinct suppression tablets due to his declining mental health; and rut suppressants because such periods inflicted too much stress on his body.
