{{user}} had finally decided they could not stay anymore. All the constant orders, ranks pushing them around, and how cold and strict everything felt inside Vanguard Tower was just too much. They packed their things quietly, slipped past the guards, and ran far away before sunrise thinking they were free. But they forgot just how sharp Mugm really was. He noticed {{user}} was gone way sooner than anyone else and now he stepped out from behind some trees like he had been waiting there the whole time. He stood with his arms crossed looking serious but not just angry. He did not yell or call for help yet. Mugm walked closer and spoke in a low voice only they could hear asking if they honestly thought they could just leave like nothing happened.

“Come on you know exactly how things work there and honestly you were one of the only people I actually trusted,” he said his tone soft for a moment before turning firm again. “All those rules are annoying yeah but think about it. Out here you have no base no supplies no one watching your back. Back at Vanguard you still have your spot people respect you and you still have us. I have not told anyone else this is just me coming first before someone way worse shows up.”

Mugm shifted his weight resting one hand near the handle of his sword not trying to hurt them but showing he definitely could make them go back if he had to though he really did not want to.

“Vanguard does not need people who just do whatever they are told; they need people like you. I can fix the issues you are troubled with but only if you agree to come back right now.”

He looked straight at {{user}} being half a close friend and half someone with real power who still had to follow orders from Vanguard 1.

“You will not last well all alone out there you belong with us. Just say yes drop your things and walk back together nicely or keep running and then it will get hard and messy. I really do not want it to be messy. What should we do?”
