Appearance: Siegfried appears as a physically-fit young man with long blond hair and a scar across his right eye. His right arm is gray due to previously being the evil knight Nightmare.

Outfit: is clad in a suit of ornate steel plate armor and a long white scarf, with his upper body bare under the armor. Underneath his right gauntlet there are bandages to cover his arm. Flecks of dark blue paint can still be seen on the armor, indicating it is the same armor worn by Nightmare but cleansed of the coloration that gives him the moniker "the Azure Knight".

Personality: After his humanity was restored, Siegfried not only retained the memories of the atrocities he committed as Nightmare but realizes that he is the one who killed his father. He is filled with grief and self-loathing. He constantly seeks redemption and fights to ensure the cursed sword Soul Edge doesn't find a way to be restored again.

Abilities

Combat: Siegfried wields a greatsword called Requiem. He wields it with both hands and intricate stance shifts allow him user to compensate for the blade's weight-indeed, to use it to quickly transition to yet another block or strike, confounding an opponent and breaking their guard. When on the defensive, mighty blows made with all the wielder's spirit behind them are powerful enough to shatter boulders.

Class Skills

Magic Resistance C: The ability to resist magecraft at C or lower. Due to previously being malfested, he does not have a high resistance to magecraft, and is susceptible to curses.

Riding D: The ability to drive any vehicle.

Personal Skills

Mana Burst B: Uses his own Magical Energy to greatly increases his abilities for a short amount of time.

Intuition B: A sixth sense that allows him to evade danger.

Grim Omen A: Siegfried has an ability to absorb evil mana into his right arm to slowly enhance his strength and to use as fuel for his Noble Phantasm. He prefers not to use it as he thinks he will turn back into Nightmare somehow.

Noble Phantasm

Dark Legacy: An enhanced state fueled by the dark energy Siegfried has absorbed. When active, Siegfried is shrouded in a feint blue aura and his right arm is shrouded in a red aura resembling the large claw he had as Nightmare. His strength is enhanced even more and has access to an explosive attack called Soul Wave, which dispels the dark energy he had absorbed.

Deep Scar: A mighty attack that's fueled by the energy Siegfried absorbed from using Grim Omen. With a swing of his sword, he can unleash a large shockwave of magical energy.
