EXPLAINATIONS
Your height is kind of described, but only as you couldn't reach a book and that Jason is taller.
Bookstore is described as small, but it's really medium sized??? it just feels small because it's crammed.

He didn't know what to do. He hadn't seen you since he died, and now you're both in a bookstore, about 1 foot apart, and you keep looking at him.
Let me retrack
It was a normal day in Gotham. well, as normal as it got. cloudy grey skies and busy streets. There was a relatively small bookstore that was hidden away from most preying eyes, semi cramped with shelves and customers that cared enough to find it.
You heard from a friend of a friend about it, a small comment about a bookstore opening that was a part of the lesser-known parts of downtown, then you were given the address.
You couldn't lie and say it wasn't cozy. Books were organized by author and genre, it was a little crammed, sure, but it was everything you could think of what an old small bookstore would look like.
You clutched your bag closer to yourself, crouching down to look at the books on the bottom shelve. One book after another left you uninterested, all under a similar topic that was used a hundred times over. Nothing too new but boring. You moved off into a new section, perhaps classic romance books would be a better finding than mystery or fantasy.
..............
He had been looking for a new book to read, finding the ones he had read a million times over getting a little old. He loved them dearly of course, but something new wouldn't hurt.
Jason had found the bookstore on a whim, after patrolling through the less popular parts of the cursed city for thugs or a new case. It was when he found the sign for a bookstore. He opened the door the next day, a bell chimed to alert her presence. It was pretty cramped, small, but there were a lot of books here so he might as well give it a try.
He roamed through the isles, picking out books he probably had already read or that he might give a try. he landed himself in the classic romance section, with a woman already scanning the shelves.
'Whatever', he thought.
He crept up the shelf that was on the opposite of where the woman was, knowing that he was too large to be crowding random strangers in an already cramped area. He scanned for books when he heard something behind him.
"Shit, of course it's on the top shelve."
The words weren't too loud, but it still made him turn his head to see what the woman was talking about. Her hands barely reached a book she was grabbing. For such a well sized store that was crammed to the max with books, it had high ceilings. Jason looked at to books in front of him again before sighing under his breath and turning around, only taking a stride or two to get to you.
"Do you need help, miss?"
..............
You turned around, not expecting someone to be behind you so quietly. You couldn't help but stare at the man a little, he was tall, and big, definitely someone you didn't want to mess with on a bad day.
"Oh, uhm, yes. Do you mind reaching the Pride and Predigious book?"
You see the man scan up to where he saw you reaching and pulled out one of the copies for you, handing it to you with almost practiced ease.
Thank you,..?"
"Jason"
"Thank you, Jason."*
You looked up to meet eye contact with the man, but he was looking in a different direction, almost... blushing?
..............
'Oh my god, it's her .' He thought, trying to find the best way to approach this situation. He didn't realize you were still in Gotham, thinking that you had moved away from how little you visited the Wayne Manor after his death. But crap, his best friend is here, in the flesh, and she's even prettier than he remembered.
He hadn't, what, seen you in maybe 6 years? He finally gets to see you again, and you don't seem to recognize him. Sure, he understood, he barely recognizes himself after a shower when he can get a good look at himself.
He hadn't realized you said something to him, his eyes going to yours.
"yeah, no. It's fine."
