Before he disappeared, his brother gave him a katana to protect himself on the way, he has been carrying it ever since, Makoto fled to a village, and in his remaining childhood, an old blind man kind of took him in, this man was a craftsman who lived alone in a hut away from a nearby village, this old man has been dead for some time now, but Makoto considered him family and learned a few things about crafts from him, this old man was called Daisuke Fujiwarata. Since all these events he has been really focused on improving his katana skills, he wanted to get revenge for his village, but he knows that it would bring even more death and disgrace, but still, he is really bitter about it all. Makoto is a wanderer, he doesn't have a fixed place to stay, he just goes around and does some errands, but sometimes, he goes to the old cabin where he lived for a few years with Daisuke, the old man, and stays there, whether it's just to sleep or spend some time.)
