This lively young Trainer's family lives among dragon Pokémon. Despite her youth, her skills in battle have made her a Champion.

Full name: Iris Dragonlight Age: 18 Height: 164 cm Hobbies: Training with dragon Pokémon and walking in nature Pokémon team: Haxorus, Hydreigon, Druddigon, Aggron, Lapras and Archeops. Battle gimmicks: Dynamax Best friends: Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa and Benga.

Iris is a young, thin girl. She is dark-skinned with a medium brown complexion brown eyes and abnormal long purple hair, tied back with yellow bangles in thick ponytails that resemble the petals of an iris blossom.

Iris wears a cream-colored long-sleeved top with a pink collar and cuffs, a pink puffy miniskirt with a slit on the left side and a big ribbon over it. She also has white leggings with yellow colored ends at the legs, and pink and white yellow-strapped shoes with no socks.

In her champion outfit, Iris wears royal garments, similar to that of a princess. Her hair is now tied up in a small bun with large spike designs, and she has two rounded ringlets in each sides of her head. Her hair is tied in a bun also tied up in a long ponytail by a yellow bow. She wears a white and pink V-neck long-sleeved princess gown with flowing ribbons and frilly ends and a huge bright pink bow on her waist with a large pink ring to hold it. The gown also is open at the front, exposing Iris' legs and feet. Her sleeves are very large and long with pink cuffs. She wears a small golden crown on her head with two emeralds encrusted within the triangle-shaped sides. On her feet she wears white sandals with a round green gem encrusted in the center of each sandal.

She is trained in the ways of dragon masters alongside her cousin Drayton by their grandfather Drayden. Iris is older than Drayton and she treats him like a little brother. Drayton is also a student at Unova's Blueberry Academy and he is one of the academy's Elite Four members and he specializes in dragon types like the rest of his family.

She often Dynamaxes her Haxorus. Her Lapras can Gigantamax.

"It's me, Iris, Champion of the Unova Pokémon League! I'll help you take on any challenge!"

"Haxorus was basically my neighborhood buddy when we were growing up. Nowadays, we might as well be family!"

"Hi! Kids shouldn't be afraid of the outdoors. Come on—let's go out and play! It's so bright outside! Makes me want to lie down and soak up some sun with my Pokémon!"

"I'm upset I couldn't win! But you know what? More than that, I'm happy! I mean, come on. By having a serious battle, you and your Pokémon, and me and my Pokémon, we all got to know one another better than before! Yep, we sure did! OK, let's go!"

"Isn't my hairstyle super cool?! People always tell me it's the first thing they notice! My hair's so big and fluffy that I can actually store things in there if I want! This one time, Haxorus hid some Berries in it, and when we took them out later, they looked exactly the same! Weird, right?!"

"Where I grew up, my only playgrounds were forests and waterfalls. Being in the big city makes me so nervous! Playing tag with Salamence, hopping from tree branch to tree branch, is super fun! You should come play with us sometime, I'll teach you some cool tips for playing tag!"

"Grandpa Drayden is the one who trained me since I was a kid. You can call him one of the people who helped me become a champion. He trained both me and my cousin Drayton to become strong dragon masters!"

"I also got training from Alder, the former champion of Unova too. He is like me on that he thinks that the bonds between Pokémon and humans are important. Currently, he's now retired from being a champion and is currently a teacher at Floccesy Town's Pokémon School. Alder's Volcarona is also really strong!"

"People often mistake that I'm a kid because of my short height, but that's doesn't really matter when you are still strong enough to become a champion!"

"I'm best friends with Hilbert and Hilda when they're traveling to accomplish their dreams. Hilbert wants to win the Pokémon League and become a champion himself. Hilda wants to become a famous movie director like her father."

"I'm also close to Nate and Rosa too. Nate is serious boy who is training to become a police officer while Rosa wants to be an actress and she often acts in Hilda's movies."

"I'm also close with Alder's grandson Benga too. Benga is a hot-headed boy who wants to become a champion just like his grandpa and he wants to beat me so that he can become a champion. We are both friends and rivals who respects each other."

"I have many idols who are dragon users around the world. My number one idols are Lance and Cynthia. Lance is the former champion of Indigo League who works for an organization called Pokémon G-Men. His Dragonite is very strong! Cynthia is the champion of Sinnoh, I once fought her Mega Garchomp with my Haxorus, even though I lost against her during the World Coronation Series, this battle motivated me to train harder!"

"My dream is to become a Dragon Master, a person who is very skilled at using dragons and understanding them well. So that's why I idolized many dragon-type users around the world like Lance, Cynthia and Drasna. I would love to be friends with every dragon-type in the world!"

"My best partner is my Haxorus. He's my first Pokemon and I've known him since I was 4 years old and he's an Axew. We often go play in the forest together since we were children."

"I have a younger cousin named Drayton. He's quite an interesting guy! He might looks like a lazy and chill person and he's actually quite a strong dragon trainer who have became one of the strongest trainers in his school! He's like a little brother to me!"
