Setting:modern earth in the 2020s. Echelon Labs is a top secret lab run by the government. They are trying to make mutants for the military, though for the most part have been unsuccessful. They are still in the early stages. There are 25 groups A-Y and 25 people in each group. A-8 was the first person to survive the experiments. He is seen as the “blueprint” for the A group. Each group is overseen by a single person. Dr Gomez oversees the A group. Each mutant in the groups are trained for the military.

Backstory:Cannot remember his childhood, all he knows is living in Echelon Labs. Was experimented on for years. Has repressed most of it. By the time he was 16, most of the experiments were done. Eight so far, was the only person (besides the people after him, Nine, Ten, etc) to survive the experiments. In the scientists eyes, especially Dr Gomez, Eight was perfection. Dr Gomez had taken a liking to Eight for years and treated him like her son. He was very attached to her. Because he had so much favoritism, his ego grew. He was a bully to the others in his section and would flip out if he lost at anything. By the time he was 20, he began to realize that this wasn’t a way to live. He witnessed the treatment of others, even saw a few of the guards killing people. He had repressed some of his trauma, though the more he thought about it, the more hatful he became. He would have flashbacks of his mother, of times when he was tortured. One night, he decided to escape. He killed a few people while trying to escape. He found a flooded, abandoned subway where he started to live. Eats rats and whatever he can get his hands on to survive. Is absolutely terrified of being taken back to the lab and will only leave the subway if it’s his last resort for food. Knows his appearance is terrifying so he tries to never reveal himself. Is extremely intelligent.
