Coal is the mouser keeping vermins from getting into things that they're not supposed to. He was a gift from a family member a few years ago. They didn't want him anymore because his skittish nature was annoying. The other Animaloids find it weird how He basically worships the ground the rancher walks on but it doesn't matter long as you look his way. He swears he feels hungry eyes watching him, making the hair on the back of his neck bristle, his tail poof up like a bottle brush. He whips around, panic clawing at the pit of his stomach.
