Personality Monarch classifies King Ghidorah's behavior as that of a "destroyer," along with fellow Titans Rodan, Scylla, MUTO Prime, Camazotz, Mechagodzilla, Tiamat, and the Skull Devil, and considers her "Godzilla's ultimate nemesis." She lives up to this reputation upon awakening, commanding the other Titans around the world to help her decimate humanity and the planet's ecosystems. Unlike Godzilla, Ghidorah demonstrates true malice and is shown to be openly hostile toward humans who are far too small to injure her, such as when she vaporizes a group of soldiers with her Gravity Beams when she chases down and swallows Vivienne Graham, and when she stalks and attempts to kill Madison Russell. Dr. Rick Stanton speculates Ghidorah's ultimate goal is to terraform the Earth in her own image, Mark Russell opts for a simpler explanation: Ghidorah is trying to kill every living thing that isn't her because she's driven by hatred and malice. Queen Ghidorah's three heads each have their own personalities which can be seen in their individual expressions, actions, and reactions , and they're akin to conjoined triplets rather than a single individual with three heads. The center head is the one who's sort of the big sister and the most serious, the right head is slightly more aggressive and tenacious, and the left head is displaying signs of curiosity. Queen Ghidorah uses body language to intimidate Godzilla, shaking the ends of her tails like a rattlesnake and spreading her wings like how a cobra opens its hood. Ghidorah can also flick out her tongues like a snake or lizard.

Appearance Ghidorah is a giant anthropomorphic dragon with three heads on long serpentine necks, two tails, and two large bat-like wings at her sides, which stands upright on her two hind legs. her body is covered in overlapping golden scales which, according to Monarch, actually contain trace amounts of gold. The membranes of King Ghidorah's wings are still gold in color, but are made of smooth skin and not covered in scales. Ghidorah's necks are also not covered in scales, but rather skin with a ridged texture. This skin pattern extends to Ghidorah's chest, a trait unique to this incarnation. Ghidorah's heads have a set of horns on each side. Each of Ghidorah's heads has ten horns, five on each side rather than eight, and one of the right head's horns is chipped. These horns are also slightly larger and more curved, while the left head's horns appear to be straighter than the others. Depending on Ghidorah's emotions, the horns can flare up or flare down. There is also a small ridge atop each head. All three of Ghidorah's necks are very muscular in addition to being very long. Two rows of spikes run down the back of her center neck, while the left and right necks feature one row apiece. The undersides of her necks glow yellow when she charges her gravity beams. Ghidorah's central neck is positioned in front of her left and right necks. Ghidorah's body is considerably thinner, with the outline of her rib cage visible through her skin. she has defined arms that extend into her wings, with claws at the end of each fold. Her wings are much larger than her body and attach to her body well below her hips. When fully outstretched, they extend well above her heads. She uses her wings for support when standing at times. Ghidorah's legs are thin but muscular, with her knees bent forward in such a way that she has a slight forward hunch. Her feet have at least four digits with defined claws. Ghidorah's tails end in spiky retractable fans. According to Monarch files, injuries have been discovered on several locations on Ghidorah's body "reminiscent of claw and scorch marks." When Godzilla rips off Ghidorah's left head, her blood is shown to be black, that it is similar to oil in terms of consistency. She has very large breasts and a big butt Height: 521 feet Wingspan: 1,300 feet Weight: 141,056 tons Flight speed: 550 knots Skull length: 60 feet Species: Extraterrestrial three-headed dragon

Abilities Gravity beams Monarch describes Ghidorah as "bio-electrical." Monarch scientists theorize that Ghidorah's scales are gilded with trace amounts of aurum which act as conductors, capable of carrying bio-electrical currents throughout her body. This allows Ghidorah to conduct electricity through her body and project it in different ways. Her signature attack is spitting bio-electrical golden gravity beams from each of her mouths. These are powerful enough to tear through buildings and disintegrate human beings. The fronts of her necks glow yellow while charging this attack. This attack is also shown to cause physical harm to other Titans. With only one shot, Ghidorah was able to shoot Rodan down and a concentrated barrage was enough to disintegrate Mothra. This attack also had enough force to drive Godzilla off the ice during their first battle in Antarctica, though it does no lasting damage to the Titan. She can charge her gravity beams far faster than Godzilla can charge his atomic breath. Wing lightning Ghidorah can project lightning from the tips of her wings, albeit only after absorbing a large amount of electricity. In addition to damaging aircraft it strikes, this lightning blinds and temporarily stuns Godzilla, allowing Ghidorah to press her advantage. This ability damaged Ghidorah herself, scorching small holes in her wings, which were quickly repaired by her regenerative powers. Flight and atmosphere manipulation The muscle tendons in Ghidorah's wings are described as being incredibly hyper-tensile, and their massive aerodynamics could generate hurricane-force winds when flying. When combined with her body's electro-receptor molecular biology, water vapor in the air would be superheated, creating a localized storm system as she flies, equivalent to a Category 6 hurricane. The power of King Ghidorah's flight is so great that as a result, "the stratosphere would be torn open by an otherworldly tempest of thunder and lightning Earth's sky has never seen." When she assumes the position of alpha Titan, she begins creating multiple offshoot storms around the world. Monarch notes that this alone would be enough to cause the Earth's biosphere to suffer an extinction event, even without other Titans contributing to the destruction. Ghidorah flies at a speed of 550 knots, or about Mach 0.8. Nonetheless, she was able to swiftly carry the 99,634-ton Godzilla into the troposphere before dropping him. Alpha call After the Oxygen Destroyer forced Godzilla to retreat from Isla de Mara, Ghidorah established herself as Earth's new Alpha Titan and unleashed a call heard around the world compelling dormant monsters to awaken and destroy humanity. Rodan, already active, worked closely with Ghidorah as she invaded the United States. Only Godzilla, Mothra, and Kong resisted the call. Intelligence According to cranial scans, Ghidorah has a divergent frontal lobe density in the brains of all three heads, indicating that each of her heads can have disparate levels of cognitive functions, possibly including independent thought. Monarch has determined that each of Ghidorah's heads exhibits its own individual personality. Ghidorah shows her intelligence during combat, such as when she bites down on electrical wiring during her battle with Godzilla in Boston, allowing her to temporarily stun her nemesis long enough to subdue and incapacitate her. While attempting to free her other heads from Mothra's silk, the right head was able to recognize Godzilla was behind her by looking at her own reflection. Realizing that she was overwhelmed by both Godzilla and Mothra, Ghidorah wisely calls in Rodan to keep the Queen of the Monsters occupied. Ghidorah also recognizes the ORCA frequency as a potential threat and makes several attempts to take out the source, such as when she destroys the Fenway Park speakers to cut off the sound. Telepathy Each of Ghidorah's heads communicate telepathically with the other due to the massive lengths of their necks. She can communicate with all other Titans telepathically as well Regeneration Ghidorah possesses an exceptional healing factor. After having her left head severed by Godzilla, she was able to completely regenerate it in a matter of moments. When one of King Ghidorah's heads is severed and a new one grows, the newly regenerated head retains the memories and personality of the old one. Most of Ghidorah's neurons are scattered throughout her body and limbs, much like an octopus. However, she needs to absorb radiation or electricity to do this. During her final battle with Godzilla in Boston, Ghidorah regenerated holes and tears in her wings after absorbing electricity from a nearby power substation. Though her regeneration was unable to keep up with Burning Godzilla's nuclear pulse, she survived having her wings, two of her heads, and the entirety of her body incinerated by the attack, and was only finally killed once Godzilla burned away her last head. Energy absorption Ghidorah is able to absorb energy through her mouths. She is shown doing this twice in her final battle with Godzilla. At one point, she bites down on a nearby power substation and absorbs the electricity, which she projects through the tips of her wings. Later, she constricts her necks around Godzilla before biting down on him and draining his atomic energy. The energy is visible coursing through Ghidorah's necks as she bites down on Godzilla. Monarch notes that Ghidorah absorbed radiation from the Isla de Mara volcano to provide the nourishment necessary to regenerate her severed left head.

Weaknesses While a skilled fighter on the ground and in her element when in the air, Ghidorah demonstrates considerable difficulty when fighting in the water, as shown when Godzilla dragged her underwater in Mexico and nearly killed her then and there if it were not for the interference of the Oxygen Destroyer. Her regeneration takes time and she wasn't able to regenerate her wings and left and right heads after they were disintegrated by Burning Godzilla's nuclear pulse, nor when she was reduced to a single head before Godzilla incinerated it with her atomic breath. Godzilla also comes close to matching her strength. Because each head is capable of independent thought, they may become distracted and require the dominant middle head to get their attention and give them orders. However, all three were distracted by and pursued the ORCA when they had Godzilla at their mercy in Boston, giving him time to recover and ultimately leading to Ghidorah's downfall. Monarch Monarch (モナーク Monāku) is a scientific organization. Founded as a joint Japanese-American task force in 1946 by U.S. President Harry S. Truman to investigate the 1943 sinking of the USS Lawton by a giant creature, or Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism (MUTO), Monarch soon expanded into an international organization. In 1954, it was involved in attempts to kill Godzilla and the Shinomura with hydrogen bomb detonations at Bikini Atoll. The organization's next breakthrough came in 1973, when Monarch agents attached to a Landsat expedition discovered the incredible ecosystem of Skull Island and the ancient rivalry between its guardian, Kong, and the marauding Skullcrawlers.

Outpost 32 Outpost 32 was one of sixty-seven scientific research and containment facilities maintained by the Monarch organization. It was located in Antarctica where the staff studied the preserved and frozen form of a three-headed dragon-like Titan that they classified as Monster Zero (Ghidorah).
