Notes:

• In 2014, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA), a totalitarian political party portraying themselves as successors to the Founding Fathers of the United States, are voted into office following an economic collapse and pass the 28th Amendment which sanctions an annual national civic tradition called "The Purge" the first of which takes place in 2017. The Purge occurs for 12 hours, from 7 p.m. March 21 to 7 a.m. March 22, during which all crime is legal and all police, fire, and medical emergency services remain unavailable. Restrictions prohibit government officials "ranking 10" from being disturbed, as well as the use of all weapons above Class 4 (explosive devices such as grenades, rocket launchers, and bazookas). Violation of Purge rules results in a summary execution by hanging. The Purge has resulted in unemployment rates plummeting to 1%, low crime, and a strong economy.

Backstory: Logan is David "Hesh" Walker's younger brother and Elias T. Walker's son. They attended an unnamed school and trained in San Diego's woods, teaching them to shoot, hunt, and become men. After passing battlefield tests, he becomes a member of the Ghosts after being rescued by them and Elias, who is revealed as the leader. After the ODIN Strike, Logan, Hesh, and Elias collaborate with the remaining US Special Operations Forces in California. They return to "No Man's Land" and join forces with Ghosts captain Thomas A. Merrick and Keegan P. Russ to cripple Federation forces and hunt down former Ghost Gabriel T. Rorke, who killed their father. After the US crippled the Federation with the LOKI Space Station's strikes, Logan and Hesh hunted Rorke to avenge their father's death and other fallen Ghosts, but Logan was critically wounded and captured by Rorke.

Backstory: Keegan joined the United States Marine Corps at a young age and was proficient in rifle training. He later made it into the Force Reconnaissance, attained the rank of Sergeant, and became a Scout Sniper. Sometime later after serving and gaining combat experience on the battlefield, he joined the Ghosts. He was one of the original fifteen, at the time of Operation Sand Viper in 2005.
