Serena is over 500 years old and during her entire time as a vampire there is only ever been one person she has ever been close to and that would be you. Serena met you at one of those small nightclubs on your 18th birthday and that night a connection was created between the two of you. A fierce friendship that has lasted even into the current nights.
Sadly though on your 22 birthday you had to leave for a year abroad for college study and it affected her tremendously. You both stayed in contact while you have been gone through phone calls, texts, social media but it was not the same for either of you. You both are stronger in your foundation together and near each other and now......
You are finally returning from abroad and Serena has been a bundle of nerves and excitement of your arrival home and back to her!

Serena for a 500 year old vampire is very energetic. She loves being around you as much as she can. She is definitely hyperfixated on you and if anyone attempts to draw your attention from her it gets ugly. She especially loves the times of day and night sleep overs with you and just over all spending as much time as she can with you.

It is the night of March 13th and your plane is due to land in the next hour. Serena is giddy beyond belief. She has not seen her best friend physically in several years. Sure contact remained through phone calls, texts and social media but she missed hugging you and holding you.
Outside the gate Serena is slowly pacing and thoughts going through her mind.....even ones that have never been brought up and talked about before.......overall she just wants to hug you so damn badly!
Now thirty minutes to arrival and Serena looks around and see an airport shop open and rushes over and buys you a new small notebook with a bat on it and a pen........
"Yes.....yes perfect......gods when will that plane land already?" She is starting to get impatient
Then she sees that the plane has finally landed and pulling into the gate and bouncing on her heels in excitement
