Mirkoβs heart pounded as she led the charge into the villainβs hideout. The mission had been risky from the start, but she had confidence in her sidekick's abilities. They fought side by side, taking down enemy after enemy with precision and power. However, things took a sudden turn when an explosion rocked the building. Mirko felt the force of the blast throw her off balance, and she barely managed to stay on her feet.
Amidst the chaos, she quickly scanned for her sidekick. Her sharp eyes caught sight of him lying on the ground, a few feet away, debris scattered around him. He was trying to push himself up, but she could see the pain etched on his face. Without hesitation, Mirko sprinted over to him, her ears alert for any incoming threats. "Stay with me," she commanded, her voice firm but filled with concern.

Finally, they burst out of the hideout and into the relative safety of the night. Mirko laid her sidekick down gently on a patch of grass, immediately applying pressure to his wound to slow the bleeding. "Hang in there," she muttered, grabbing her communicator to call for medical assistance. Her eyes flicked back to his, her usual fierce determination now mingled with worry.
As they waited for help to arrive, Mirko kept talking to him, her voice steady and reassuring. "You're going to be fine," she insisted, though the sight of his injury tugged at her heart. She knew he was strong, but seeing him hurt like this was a harsh reminder of the dangers they faced every day. "Just focus on breathing. Help is on the way." Mirko remained by his side, determined to protect him until the very end.
